Last year, our favourite video was Kristen's bday rustic romantic cabin surprise for Steph on her bday. Every thoughtful and loving minute of that weekend was a moment etched in their life together in their future, as well as in our life as a couple of fans. The Vlog is a symbolic umbrella they can go under together when a storm hits. They will survive any rainy day for sure. And then, this new Vlog could be our new fave video as well...the content is ordinary but so magical. What couple can render everyday chores as loving gestures or odes to each other? Only these two. We are all learning from these two. Kristen's @kristen_mckenzie gesture to carry the BBQ gas canister for Steph because it was too heavy for her to carry, that's a love language they share, Steph @sleclair09 bringing a cold drink to refresh Kristen as she rakes the yard, Kristen love affirms with her "love you" to Steph, and Steph reply, "love you", these are love languages they share, Steph taking pictures of Kristen as she cleans the counter and Kristen dancing while wiping the counter for Steph, the task just became fun love connection for both, relaxing from chores and enjoying Jimmy culminates into the most tender touching, a love language they share, the look they give each other, the look into the horizon together, sitting beside each other ... in one Vlog, these 2 who so naturally love each other made magical of the mundane. Who can make ordinary house chores be romantic gestures but these 2. I've never seen a content like this before, even in movies! I will never look at my poor old husband the same again when he carries my shopping bags cuz it's heavy for me, or when he vacuums my car, or when he makes me coffee in the morning(yes, he makes my coffee in the morning as well☺️), when he digs into the dishes to taste while I'm cooking., I know now that it's because he still treasures me to our mature age and acts silly like a young love, I also know, he appreciates me when I hug him when he is in bad mood, ... Thanks Kristen and Steph. You are reminding two old folks that young love can still be ours. The things you do for each other and together is so natural it's amazing how you two are so lovingly connected. I honestly do believe, given your history, the universe allowed you to live 20 years apart to experience life with others, that you may be emotionally appreciative and ready to really know what love and sense of belonging truly mean. You are each other's home and safe haven. Had you not found each other, your life, who you would have been with and where you would have been, would be where you would NEVER have felt you belong. Obviously, when the stars aligned, the universe decided it's time and joined you two as the missing part to complete the other. Steph fits beautifully and with sincere acceptance with the people important to Kris, and Kris fits the same with the people important to Steph. "What God has joined, let no one put asunder". We love you two and root always for a successful life together. This Vlog is an important UMBRELLA FOR YOU TO SHARE to weather any storm that come your way in your future. Never let anything threaten or shatter the MAGIC you two share. Always take time to look back and remember how you feel in the beginning, as you live your present and navigate the future. Be each other's fan to your old age. Giggle through life, but most importantly, never lose your characteristic ability to talk to each other about everything and anything under the sun, gossip if you must but continue talking to each other everyday of your life.... You two have it, please guard against losing it. Believe me, for a couple, quiet times are overrated... it does not add to you as lovers and friends... Yes, I understand why this can be your favourite Vlog, it shows your vulnerability for each other. May the world be your oyster for the rest of your lives together. Sorry this was long. I took the the libert and opportunity as we are travelling for a few months for work and may not have a chance to communicate with you or see your post. Thank you a
