Thanks! To me the magic of the Halo delay is what I’d called the ‘weight’ and texture of the repeats. They’re also warm while still being present in the high end. I was pretty happy with how these Helix settings turned out, but they’re not 100% the sound of the Halo. Keeley and Andy Timmons really made a beautiful sounding delay. The Fractal ‘Aurora’ delay is pretty spot on though.
I tried to follow along and copy your screen shots since I am using the pod go. However, when it came time to choose the second delay, the vintage digital, it would not let me choose it. What other delay can I use, specifically, one where I can utilize the note sync and the modulation. I tried some other delays, but did not get very far.
You can tell the difference between the two, isolated, but I'd bet that I wouldn't know the difference with even just another instrument let alone the whole mix.
Robert Keeley did in fact share information on the Fractal Forum that helped them getting the Aurora delay closer to the Halo pedal.

Hmm sounds like a DSP limit - that’s a bummer. You’d need to remove or swap out another effect or change the amp to something that uses less DSP.

That was our thoughts too - it’s definitely the spirit of the thing!
