So here I am cruising the Snoop Dogg channel for some midnight toking entertainment, and I see the name Masekela. And I'm like, nah, can't be - and it is! Hugh Masekela's son!
I had the extreme honor of introducing Hugh Masekela to the stage, on the steps of Sproul Hall at UC Berkeley in 1986, on behalf of the Campaign Against Apartheid. Naturally, one of the highlights of my life. So it blew my mind to see his son kicking it with Snoop Dogg talking about surfing and everything!
