WOW, Australia sure is brimming with exam boards! That's wild. In the past I've only been familiar with RCM [in Canada], but have been researching others too in the past few years. Great overviews in this video - appreciated.

I had never even heard of exams til I was 19-20 studying in a local conservatory. My teacher there used LCM and I was interested to begin (would’ve been around grade 6-7) but I did not stay there long. Now as a teacher myself 10y later I’m interested to get my grades and teaching certificate through RCM especially since a music degree was never a feasible option (hello American tuition scheme). Would also love to offer RCM, Con Brio, UME etc to my students. Thanks for the info!

Great video 👍 I find Con Brio Examinations to be great especially for adults as they are not recorded in one take. All pieces are recorded individually 😊

By no stretch of one's imagination am I a piano teacher (I'm not THAT good! Ha). I do, however, enjoy your presentations!
