Can’t you just get cables for your server that have USB-C ends so that way you wouldn’t need a dongle? I comprehend you on how hard it is for you to get videos out, though I still think you upload videos frequently.
Edit: being serious, I also had an M1 Mac mini which also really helped in getting videos on my channel edited and uploaded. Compared to the 2012 iMac I was using, not to mention all the other macs prior, the Mini blew them out of the water completely. Not even close. Now I have an M1 Max Mac Studio, which is an even bigger beast, as well as the transition from iMovie to DaVinci Resolve 18, it’s been a bit different of an experience but basically the same. I could edit on my PC, sure, but I’m more-or-less used to macOS for editing video, and this machine does a really good job with the 4K HEVC I record in that I’d rather have the efficiency. The Mini was really the great influence to me getting some of the hardware I have today for daily use. It can’t replace my x86 stuff 100% but it’s closer than I would expect.
Congratulations on 2k!
