Rabbi Taubes earned a BA in History and Jewish Studies from Yeshiva College, an MA in Medieval Jewish History from the Bernard Revel Graduate School of Jewish Studies, and received rabbinic ordination from the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary. He is currently working on his dissertation in Medieval Jewish History.
Rabbi Taubes currently serves as the rabbi at Mount Sinai Jewish Center.
And is an assistant director at the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary at Yeshiva University.
Previously Rabbi Taubes served as the Orthodox Union Jewish Learning Initiative on Campus (OU-JLIC) Educator at the University of Pennsylvania Hillel, a position he held along with his wife for five years.
