Basically you added more pressure. Those orings are acting like springs, and your washer made them compressed more. I'll have to check and see if mine have wiggle like that. Were you having banding issues?
@@bluerider0988 exactly right, and no I didn’t. I decided to do this when I was changing my nozzle from 0.6 to 0.4 and didn’t like that it had too much play.
This pulled the slop out of mine, tool changes seem just as smooth as before. Thanks!

Pretty sure this was a problem that could have been solved reaching support instead, my tools are firm in position.
