- Airbartk flight report for Brussels Airlines Economy Class. From New York John F Kennedy (JFK) to Brussels Airport, Belgium.
The service on board was good. But the airplane itself, the seats and food was bad... looking to the prices from other airlines, I will still recommend Brussels Airlines. But if you got a little bit more to spend, pay a little bit more and fly with another airline.
My flight to NY was with American Airlines, watch that flight report on a B777 and you will see the difference.

What did you expect? Flying in Economy on a long-haul trip is never comfortable, whatever airline you fly. I flown SN, KLM and Lufthansa for long haul flights and I always booked Bussiness, the comfort & seats was way beter and the food was quite good in Bussiness (with SN) whahaha lol x-D
Thanks for your comment Dermarcl. Looking to the prices for business class I better fly economy. I also flown with AA to NYC and that was just great. Maybe one day I will fly Business just to taste the difference haha!

There are not so many Brussels Airlines flight reports on RUclips. Maybe you can make one aswell? Would be great I think.

Was the plane really 23 years old! I do not think that is possible because If you look it up the oldest A330 they have is 18 years old, not 23
Thank you for your reaction Tripaholic. I checked planespotters dot net again and can confirm the first flight of this a330 reg oo-sfm was on 22. Jun 1993. Brussels airlines bought this airplane from another airline and renewed the cabin seats. Regards.

don't tell me you expected comfort in economy
Alaska Maska wauw...oh so expecting a good working ptv, some normal food with some good service is strange? Please check my other flight reports on even shorter flights with much better experience.
I wasn't talking about the services, I meant that the seats in economy are more often uncomfortable. The more we go into the future though airlines are changing it
this plane will retire I think it's either 2017 or 2018 as the first of the long haul planes
Are they replacing those with new ones?
prob used a330 it's still in consideration depends if lufthansa buy the rest of the shares for now it even could be 787's (prob not lol)

yeah kinda nice but those the 2 oldest a330 have to be replaced they did this year with the short haul (no more avro's :( :( ) btw I think the plane you flew in is going to a museum
