This is the best and most informative playthrough of Victoria 3 ever made! Kudos

This is great, your over-explaining of every decision is really helpful for every little thing, thank you

I'd smash that like and subscribe button and even leave a comment to help your channel grow, the only issue is that I have obviously been subscribed since forever.

It's incredible how you, running a low infamy campaign and focusing more on explaining the game's features than expanding and playing aggressively, still manage to have a higher GDP/SOL/POPS than most other players and RUclipsrs, you're really on another level.

Is there a way to improve SoL and growing while keeping landowners in power? Estado Novo as Brazil is such a challenging achievement because you need them powerful into the 1900s.

Also never joining anyone’s market. Brazil must stand alone and the coffee must flow.

Yeah, you can keep the laws that positively improve their clout, but more importantly you can just keep recruiting/promoting more landowner generals than other IGs. You have to make sure you do this before their clout drops though - they won't roll as many generals if their clout is already low.

As well, it's not like you CAN'T grow wealth and SoL without liberalizing fully. It's just easier the more you can do it. With strong landowners, you can still make a decent amount of progress towards the good laws, and making all the right economic moves are going to do most of the heavy lifting, regardless of who's in charge. De-peasant the population, drive up the labour-saving PMs to lift workers about labourers, and good things will happen. Putting more focus on keeping the costs low for lower-class consumption goods will be important, too. Profitability is less important, since you're not getting as much of a positive feedback loop on building profits, so drive those prices down as best you can while maintaining employment.

Currently, e state and state religion push the majority of pops into acceptance level 3 while giving the same assimilation rate as MC with 35% extra wages on accepted pops, going public schools on top of that makes your pops SOL go through the roof
You also don’t really need to care about the standard of living on the upper strata, if you still have a lot of manor houses the aristocrats are a large part of the upper strata despite receiving 30-50% of the capitalist income so they disproportionately drag down the upper strata SoL average as transportation and 3 luxury taxes are usually enough to crater their SoL below expected
