This truck was in American Trucker back in 1987 owned by Spencer Trucking and nicknamed the stagecoach pete

A 450 hp V8 CAT should do better than 2 miles per Gallon Fuel, I know a guy from Michigan has V8 CAT marine upgrades and its set for 700 hp and got the biggest BOSS turbo I have ever seen in normal truck, and his Kenworth gets 3-3.5 mile per gallon it all depends on haw You push it and haw heavy the load is, haw bulky the load is and on the wind, but he did say it gets 3+ for sure, in his new KW he is gonna put a CAT 18 liter fro a dozer that thing will be rated at 1000 hp and for sure no more than 2 miles on a gallon,- it maybe a show truck only, non road working. TH

Would have liked to see more detail of the engine, interior, dash, frame, etc. I doubt that the interviewer even knows what he was looking at
lol, you are funny.
Not only is it a v8 it also has a cat brakesaver when you look at the right side of the steering wheel you’ll see what looks like 2 trailer brakes the bottom one is a brakesaver couldn’t tell if it had jake brakes also and there is nothing like the sound of that motor and both of those gear shift levers up against the dashboard cruising through the desert at 100 mph and tack reads 17 00 rpms all you hear is turbo whistle
There's no jake brake for a 3408 cat.
Most certainly did just wasn’t put on at the factory most of my 3-way van line boys added them when the truck was shipped to double eagle for sleeper attachments
