Osage orange wood is also know as hedge. Used for fence posts, it is tough on saw blades and drill bits and does darken considerably with age and lasts forever.
Hey bud, thanks for the shout out. I still have mine and still love it. The wood has gotten significantly darker, so be careful leaving it the sun. I had to even out the tan on mine😂

I’m the same way with the finish on the blade! I love the satin way more than the polish! I also think it takes better tiners too!
