@@woodvsmurf2327 no way, im c2 in 2s and c1 in 1s. Resets, double taps, ceiling shots are all very standard shots that happen like twice a game
@@johannes_vwa Im c1 in 1s and 2s, when i see any of these, once in every 10 games, im amazed. 98% of the players doesnt need mechanics to get to those ranks. Simple football knowledge is enough to climb up there. Knowing when to tackle, when to take a shot and when to stand back is more than enough.

As a diamond who can do all of those shots pretty consistently, I am just an idiot when the game happens and just go for freestyles and thats why i lose
I dont even freestyle lol. I just dont see the point. When i did used to do it i was f*cking up so many shots so i just stopped doing it.

It really depends, im d3 c1 and theirs diamonds that do crazy shit, and some who bearly can do an air dribble, but both have the same lvl of play,
Yeah i've been playing the game about 2-3 months and got to diamond 2 in the 1-2 days of ranked I played, and I can't arial off the wall like this at all. I can't even get a touch on the ball if its too far from the wall for a double flip to get

I just hit nasty shots, angles and my ground plays are alright I suppose. All this fancy stuff is only required when u get to the final big ranks in this game. Start by mastering the basics and you can go really far!

I’m platinum and I do no aerials at all, just now getting used to even jumping off walls and contacting the ball.
Basic game knowledge and strategy can get you far even without knowing any mechanics
positioning is key bro only now incorporating aerials into my game play and I got to diamond 1 last season
Exactly! I bounce between plat and diamond. My mechanics are absolute shit. Almost no aerials and can’t even flip reset consistently.
It gets weird after champ as i can do all those things. But generally this is accurate assuming the gold scoring is an accident lol

I just started playing competitive and I’m in gold. I have not encountered a single player that was actually able to aerial successfully or even really attempt to do one.

He might not be talking shit, arials just don't matter as much as getting good hits on the ball in lower ranks.
He might be able to hit these 30% of the time in freeplay, same way there are champs who can't do it 10% of the time

I use X for boost so I can use less muscles in my hands so I don’t get them tired it’s great for aerials because you can move your thumb down and up
