I just finished watching the series today, I can honestly say that I this series made me so emotional and see everything different. This series shows how one person can make a difference and now unfair and disgraceful people and life can be.
Theme from "In the Mood for Love", just as heart-achingly beautiful, came immediately to mind. They almost blend perfectly as two lovers thinking of one another at the same time.
This work certainly has an awe about it, and as good as it may sound with Christopher Hitchens narrating behind it, I think it would be best for people to hear it on its own!
When looking for the coroner theme.. www.debbiewiseman.co.uk/soundbytes/ It can be found at the bottom, yet it's more the ending, credits theme then the opening theme. Hopefully all other "soundbytes" from The Coroner will be added as well..
Looking everywhere for the coroners theme, as i am just mesmerized by it's tranquility it's melancholy, there's something in those chords, the violins... Amazing, just breathe in and out on the flow of the chord progression... this is a bit like it, almost as if, at any moment, this could evolve into it... like i'm waiting for the theme to set in, yet, unfortunately, it just doesn't ever...

I found this as I was also looking for the theme, and this is SO reminiscent of it. ❤

Gianmaria Anderle same here :,) Advice from me: if you might be looking for another series which looks like it a little (it's also crime genre and a bit of the same landscape as Lighthaven) and is also really good, I'd advice Broadchurch.
