I totally agree with you. As a rally fan since the Group B era, I'm really saddened by the arrival of these electric boxes, which could very soon displace petrol engines. So let's enjoy it to the maximum while they are still here.

Yes, unfortunately. Those who are the rule makers are doing a great disservice to the sport by pushing these cars higher and higher. That's my opinion...
Better to have this to make the sport more acceptable in our current world than to have the sport die altogether imo. Apart from that i was quite happy with the commitment of the drivers pushing these battery powered cars to the edge.

Maybe the younger generation will like the squealing of the electric motor. But for older fans, who were still in the era of group B, then the era of Lancia Delta integrale, group A of the 90s, and wrc until today, rally will most certainly die if there are no more gasoline engines. Because it won't be a rally anymore.

People talking shit about electric cars don't realize that it's the future of vehicles. I rather have electric rally cars than to lose the sport all together.
It's a future that is imposed by EU commissars. Combustion engines have so much development ahead of them but it'll be all killed for a supposed ecology.
For example, I understand very well that the auto industry is moving towards the complete electrification of vehicles, and that as a consequence there will also be electrification in motorsport. All this is done because of the agenda of those who rule the world and sell humanity false stories about climate change, the impact of carbon dioxide and the lies that man is to blame for it through his actions. And I understand very well that electrification will cripple motorsport.

Electric shits are not the future, they're even worse than petrol cars for the planet (just check how they mine the components !)
In rally, they just sound ridiculous and their weight and weight distribution are a joke, non mentionning that there's no soul at all, no vibrations or goose bumps when you see it coming at a corner, there's no fun in it.
The only reasons they're a thing are political and economic, nothing more, thus they're not legit.
Anyway who wants a rally with that, for godness sake we knew group B, WRC, kit cars, etc, where's our proud ? Are we gonna let our sport die ?!
Maybe it should die quietly and peacefully in all its beauty rather than being transvestited.
