You know you've got the aviation bug bad when you fly all day at work for 10 hours and then go flying in the evening to relax. :)
Scott- just a shout-out to say I'm glad your brother twisted your arm, talked you into your own channel. It's been a blast. Remember, vlogging- like everything else in your life- it HAS to be fun. Save the deadlines for the real work/real world; try to keep the channel fun. FOR yourself. We're just along in the right seat.
My Wife grew up there in Pullman, Palouse area. She was born in Colfax. That is nice Country up there and we make it there two times a year. Nice video.Scott.
Makes me homesick. I used to work off Colfax airport until 4-14-93 a A6e Intruder hit the ag cat i was flying near Diamond. Hard to believe it's going on 27 years since it happened! I really enjoyed your video!
I live near here and worked in the Palouse for 7 years before retiring. Saw many crop dusters and envied them every time.
Scott.... “I’m happy...”. Nothing else needs be said! Beautiful landscape my man.
I've spent a lot of time in that area. Was always amazed at the wind waves in the tall grasses later in the season. Looks like an ocean.
Loved it! I was so happy to see this post!
Thanks for the views. My father and I used to fly around the Palouse
Yo yo yo!!!
So fricken glad to see/ hear from you bud!! Welcome back!! LoL
Good luck with your new flying job!!
Take us with you on a few of your crop dusting flights!! That would be awesome to get your perspective from the cockpit!!
Again Scott!! So cool to hear/ see from you again!!
Fly Low,,, Fly Safe,,,
G- Man
Thanks G
Really enjoyed your soothing background music with those amazing evening shots.
Congratulations on the new job.
Awesome update, can't wait to see more.
Good to hear from you, Scott. Beautiful country!!
Great Video, my instructor was a crop duster for years and also ran caravans for FedEx, great teacher and experience!
My tailwheel instructor was an ex-crop duster; they have to be the best guys to learn from!
Great to see you back ! You didn't miss a beat, very personable in front of the camera. Looking forward to more !
Awesome video! Can’t wait to see some of the crop dusting.
Happy that you are doing well
glad for your new job and especially that you're working with Ty
looking forward to seeing more of the crop dusting when it is appropriate to show us
thanks for sharing with us
the best to you, always
Really enjoy your videos, please keep them coming ! Thanks for sharing 😁
Hey, Scott! Lived in Spokane twice and spent a lot of time in the Palouse. Beautiful area, sea of green in the spring, amber waves of grain in the fall. Some of those hills can sneak up on you, so take care. Congrats on the new job!
Congrats on the new job "dusting"! Colfax! .....man i visit my family in Tri-Cites WA all the time just down the road. I will keep my eyes open for you! Cant wait to see your dusting videos. Great video Scott!
Great to see a video again. Cheers!
This was an absolutely great video. My Dad was in B-17s in WWII. After, he was a barnstormer then a crop duster. First flew in his lap when I was 2 yrs old. Got my license at 16. So your video brought back many memories. Thx.
Fly's for 10 hours then gets in his kitfox then goes for a fun fly .... Respect !
Good to have you back Scott !
Great video!
Goog luck on your new gob. take care.
Very cool Scott. Want to see some of your crop dusting as soon as you can fit it in...
Great video Scott. New job sounds cool. Doing for a living what you do for fun. Thanks
Great video! Looks like a lot of fun.
Thank you for your service & thank you for a great vlog! 👍
Love your little yellow airplane 👌👌
Where I was raised, where I consider 'home' and where I will retire.... whenever that will happen. Loved watching the AG pilots growing up, now I know an internet famous one :)
Such a beautiful plane. And I love those lightspeeds - I got a pair yesterday and they are a dream. Great video and I hope more to come
Agreed...I love my Lightspeed's too.
@@dh-flies was using them today in a little 152. Really don't think you can get much better and they're not the price of the a20s!
I used to ride motorcycles in the Palouse. Beautiful place. Interesting choice of airplanes.
Very nice Scott! I love those hills.
Looks like an amazing job and fantastic place to fly
Great Video! Looking forward to the next one.
Thanks
Home of the Appaloosa horse!
Some of the richest farm ground on earth. So rich special machines had to be invented to plant and harvest the steep terrain.
Thanks jack. I was wondering about that. I thought, 'what on earth kinds of combines run those hills & dips?'
Great Video, Editing, Content. Congrats on the new job. Thanks for the update!
Very cool! I love that area for photography. Steptoe butte, Palouse Falls to the south.
Probably my favorite video from an editing perspective and content was frickin' awesome man! Those shots were SICK!
Can't wait for the Palouse Falls Video!
My father went to Colfax High school, class of 1962 I believe. Amazing area huh. When I brought my girlfriend there she called it Teletubby land.
Awesome! Can't wait to see some ag flying vids.
Super stoked about more videos way to go on dusting job excited to learn more about that how man flight hrs does it take to get into dusting usually
Such sweet colors and shadows. Thanks for the Vlog.
Good deal.
Seen you today with the army green, and the orange and silver, and the 4 gliders here in Emmett...... Glad to be seeing more videos, bud.
This is home for me and my mom still owns property there. Think I need to stop by her farm 🙂
Congratulations on your new job, defiantly living the aviation dream 👍👍🇦🇺
Home sweet home. I live half hour south of colfax. I think I live in one of the most beautiful area
Great vid...beautiful views...cool learning the crop dusting...
Living here in Spokane as an aviator 🚁........ you got my like and my subscribe. Congrats 🤘🏻
Awesome stuff man. And just retired and moved to the Palouse with enough land to put in an airstrip for my Champ.
Send me a pm and we’ll both have an aviation friend in the area.
Stepping it up with every video! #1 fan hahaha!
Favorite fan :)
Awesome, congrats on the new flying gig!
You are one fortunate fellow!
Just wondering if kitfox 4 6394R is still there at colfax indust. sold her to a farmer a few years ago.. great bunch of landing strips there had a real good time with the new owner...
What certifications do I need and how can I get into Ag flying it looks like the best aviation job out there.
Great video, thanks for posting!
I'll be doing my XC solo for Private in a few weeks out of KSFF. My last leg will be from KPUW-KSFF. I'll wave as I go by.
used to live there! ran ground rig north of colfax... love it there
very cool. More of this and some of the agg plane, go pro in the dash for a few minutes to see what your do
Great 'Golden Hour' imagery and flying.
Great Job Scott
So beautiful. Thank you for sharing
Bro stop by Martin feild in walla walla, I'd love to talk with you, and go fly. Last time ty stopped by we went for lunch in town, and then he took me flying. An evening well spent.
Thanks for sharing your evening.
Beautiful scenery!
Awesome work I’ve been hanging for some crop dusting VLOGs from you 👍
I love your video's I just live a few miles west of Colfax.
Yeah. Life can't get any better than that.
Awesome... can’t believe I miss the fact you run a Vlog 😎
It’s a relatively new thing, trying to learn to edit and film.
Scott Palmer “Simply” documenting your awesome lifestyle in a genuine way seems to be quite a solid starting point
Dude, such a cool playground!
Great footage. Beautiful area!
Just a tease of that Top Gun song. Love it.
I am so jealous.....please keep it up, I am living through you vicariously
It would be my pleasure
I have a ppl w/ instrument (not current) but i drifted out of flying a while back. It wasnt until i was exposed to the type of flying that you and your buddies do, that i became interested in flying again.
Yall are truly blessed!
Thanks!
Great video!! Thank you!
You sir, are solid. I only have one piece of feedback/anecdata.
Flip flops: I used to live in the tropics and drive with flip flops all the time. Never again after having a literal hang-up on a pedal at a crucial moment. Please consider that.
Carry on.
I actually fly barefoot 🦶
Scott Palmer nice.
That's the best 'E-Brake' parking I've seen since I worked at a golf course...
So cool dude, I fly out of KCOE. I'll listen for ya on the radio when we are out and about.
Awesome -- thanks!
ok I'm waiting to see the traning
Btw ate some crab cakes with Emet on Tangier Island. He said you are having fun with agriculture flying.
New subscriber. Awesome footage. Thank you for posting!
you are living my dream job...perfect for me in a sense because I'm hard of hearing and I guess there's no radio control airspace out there.
Used to live in Colton. I miss the Palouse.
Love ur videos keep it up!
How good is the money in crop dusting? It sounds like an awesome job
That looks like an amazing place to fly
Awesome!
Right in my neighborhood, look forward to seeing you use the wind turbines as pillions 😁
40 years ago, we had LORAN-C receivers and a gigantic course deviation indicator for Ag and photo planes. Dead accurate!
Almost as accurate as a flagger
Whats your total hours and ratings held? 😃
Corp dusting sounds like a blast!
He's back!!!
And editing two more right now.
@4:10-40.....Hey, if that dusting job doesn't work out, consider videography/film-making. Scott, epic footage/cuts/FX. Natural.
Ending: "Boom". Now that's an E-brake trick.
Congrats dude! Happy for you
Holy shitski...I was just looking at AG flying schools...How funny. But hey, the Palouse is so freaking beautiful...I spent a year out in Wally wally.... So nice. Looks like you are doing well....!!
AG schools in the US are not needed to get a Job, Best to be find an operation and work as a loader for a season and then move into a seat. Lot's of Tailwheel time helps
wow, nice country
Gotta go take a lap around Steptoe Butte
Few people actually understand just how many people the usa wheat farmers feed. That Egyptian spring revolt was caused because of a lack of American wheat. When the Masses don't eat they Revolt. Even fewer people experience a REAL Job where you put it on the line !
Very nice video
Beautiful country, I'm a little prejudiced, only live a few miles SE of Colfax. Wish I had known you were working there, I'd a come shook your hand. I thought from earlier vids you were in Walla Walla. Great video!
Come on over, I will be back in a couple weeks
@@ScottPalmerair I'll try and do that! Maybe around the 25th, gotta go camping 16th - 24th! Old and retired, real busy, just love to see your Kitfox.
Nice flight Scott. Beautiful location. Congrats on your new career. Fly safe. Are you making Oshkosh or will you be working?
Hey to Ty.
I will be at airventure for a few days but not doing the low slow thing, trying to get Cade to fly it out
