⚠️ when picking wildflowers please don’t pick from any nature preserves ⚠️ and only take from well established plants.
Also good to learn to propagate from stems. You can go to fancy garden shops, get free clippings to grow 😮🙂🌱🌱
I think books for light academia aesthetic is books on stoicism I think they’re great to read.

Just so cool. Also enjoy seeing how many of these things I already do without even thinking about it being part of an aesthetic, it puts a new spin on what one fills their life with. Hmmm!

For the past 3 years I've taken my Scouts canoeing. We pack a bag lunch & find a sandbar. We eat & chat about the day. The lake is so beautiful & we see all the gorgeous big houses & imagine who lives there🛶
This also works for Romantic Academia.
Just a heads up if you guys want a real light academia televised version of Anne of green gables I recommend the movies made in the 1980s I thought they were a lot cuter and more light hearted than the modern remake tv show. Also I would consider The Queen’s Gambit to be a lot more DA than LA. But this is a great list, turns out I was living the LA life long before I knew what it was called.

Great video! You could even make this a series with other subtypes, or just make one video with like 10 activities per type since there is a lot of overlap. Some of my favs are romantic academia, green/botanical/natural academia, cryptid academia, spring academia, darkest academia, etc!

*sigh* What it is to live in a country that's less than 300 years old and in a part of said country that's less than 200 years old. No cathedrals, no historic architecture, unless you mean log cabins and my city has exactly 2 left. Rain is rare, and it comes in blasts, not gentle rain, we have Shakespeare in the Park, but it's literally at a park and in the summer, and you and 30,000 other citizens decide to see it with you, so you have to get there 4 hours early to get a good seat, then sit in the baking summer heat until sunset, to watch said production, then fight 3 hours of traffic to get home. I just don't live in an environment or country to do half these light academia things. Very little classic historical anything near me. Everything is glass, steel, super efficient cheap to build and designed to reflect the heat.
When you like both light and dark academia and can relate with all the 110 activities😬

Just to clarify, a symphony is a piece of music and an orchestra is an ensemble. Also, I think you meant to say that the orchestra performs or is conducted along to a movie, rather than saying they “compose”. To compose is to write the piece itself.

Light academia in my opinion is cottage core mixed with DA hahaha so on a cottage, wearing fake glasses and hopefully actually reading books 😂
But it doesn’t have to be reading, it’s just indulging in any sort of passion, Art, music, writing but it’s all uplifting
@@justlanchen wish i could show you my room. 3 out of 4 is monastary lime washed wall that i used masonary paint on, decorated with an ornate 8 x 8 gothich art of the angel gabriel. the other remaining wall is a high gloss forest green paint. which also has my slide in closet door that i painted high gloss cherry dark wood with Gold floral vines. when you slide out the closet door, its filled with petina vases, portrait of a light house, painted telgrams from my travels, vintage art from 1930's mexico-city architecture and art magazine. a tiny framed press flower in oval 0.5 by 1 inch cheery wood photo frame. non vintage biology textbooks, colelction of poems from different countries i been to. and a japanese paper lantern with printed art of geishas. I didn't realize I had a Dark Academia collection going over decades and thought it was junk. I liked a minimalist look so I ended up artfully decorated it hidden behind 16 x 3 feet closet space.
tbh the archery one surprised me bc I've literally won awards for that 😭 I'm fairly certain my navy blue compound bow with visible gears isn't quite the aesthetic but it's nice to know abt 🥲
