New challenge go to Turkey for less than £1000. After that try to get a Greek football shirt for less than 10 euros...And then go to a Turkey football match and wear the Greek t shirt😂😂😂
Crosscountry are scandalously expensive. Traveling home to Keighley from South Wales recently was significantly cheaper going via London than to go via Bristol or Birmingham.
I can't tell you how many times I've looked into taking a train journey in England and changed my mind because of the ridiculously high prices. I once (2020) got the train from New York to Los Angeles for about £100. Go figure.
So you didn't count your taxi fare to Manchester airport, your accommodation before the match, and your cost of the return journey. Great video but rubbish comparison if you're just using the figures you want to use....
I get your point here, but to be clear we live equidistant from the train station & the airport, so our taxi ride would have been the same price. We were also staying in London regardless of how we got there, which is why we didn’t mention this cost. Whatever way you look at it, UK train prices are crazy. Which is what we were trying to demonstrate.
Working at a train station I immediately looked up the costs, and whilst you did save a small amount on a single journey by flying , the return journey would have been approximately £5 each more than the single. And, as somebody else said, if you got a two together Railcard for £30 and the cost of two passport size photos you'd have saved a third of the cost which would have saved you more than the £30...
"We havent said where we are going" you showed the tickets with airport code DUB 😂😂 maybe i will go the other way to MAN. I wish there were less boozy tourists 😅 i see you're getting the Dublin bus this time. Next time watch the match nearer the airport cos i dont blame you for being sad. I wasnt expecting a dublin flight at all
We complain a lot in the Netherlands about the high prices for Dutch traintickets, but it feels quite cheap now after watching this video😂
agreed
The UK train prices are insane. They definitely don't incourage domestic tourism.
These videos are so entertaining
You failed to mention how much your accomodation for the night was.
Ur vids are so good ❤❤❤
This means a lot - thank you 🙏
Ur welcome ❤️❤️❤️

Yet you are on the Trainline website who added nearly £3 booking fee on!
So more like £6 cheaper
I just saw you guys at Dublin airport yesterday afternoon
Should have said hi 👋
I love your vids guys ❤❤
Thanks you. Where are you watching from?
UK train prices are absolutely wrong. I wanted to go from Plymouth to Birmingham. Over £300!!! So I drove it instead for £60 round trip
Crosscountry are scandalously expensive. Traveling home to Keighley from South Wales recently was significantly cheaper going via London than to go via Bristol or Birmingham.
How much did the car to Manchester airport cost? Would that have put you over?

Dunno. What will happen?
Wait, where did you guys stay for the night 😂😂
Stansted airport hotel - worth pointing out that we were staying in London regardless of getting the train/plane 😃
@@LiveTheDash How much does a simple room for 2 cost at that hotel typically? Just a curious question.
@@leontnf6144 At an airport hotel, generally about £100 per night, so $130 or EUR125
To be honest it really is a shame that you can fly there cheaper than going via train, this is why we're all gonna die from climate change
Fr
You can’t count the bus or food surely as you would need food if you took the train
Wait... this is bigger than Newcastle v Sunderland?
WAY BIGGER
Were the train tickets return?
As you need to get home from london
eh accomodation? Or you slept under the goal bar?
4th biggest rivalry 👀 nahhhhhhh no need to lie there 😂

We would have had these costs regardless of the mode of transport.
You guys travel to much i forgot where you guys live XD
It's a sin to not know where they are from at this point. They have mentioned the Manchester Airport prolly ten thousand times on their channel 😂😂🙈🙈
