    Good 1 Hilly. I rate home made venison jerky when hunting for light weight protein anytime. Its more filling than you think.

    Awesome vid dude. I’m totally with you on the gps thing. I’m currently running a Garmin Rino 750 because of the gps/radio ability…. I hate it. Im down grading to a small gps that runs AA batts, and a smaller radio. The Rino chews through battery like it’s no one’s business. Im going to go back to AA/AAA battery things because you can always carry extra batteries and you’ll be sweet. The Rino has a Lithium battery pack that costs $100 a pop. F*** spending hundreds of extra batt packs for a $750+ piece of kit… smaller gps can go a week on 2x AA’s and a hand held GPS can go 30+ hours on 1 charge.
    Loving this Vids HD. Keep ‘em coming

    Hey mate, how are you going with the exped now? I’m tossing up between the ultra 5r and dura 8r, do you find the 5r is warm and comfortable enough a year in? What temps are you getting down to with it? I want the comfort but the 8r is getting up there in weight!

    • @HillDogTV
      @HillDogTV  5 месяцев назад +1

      @@jimmyk956 love my 5r. Missus got a 5r DURA ,BIT heavier but looks tougher...
      I camp year round, last week -6 👍👍. Camped on top of snow with it also.
      I love mine

      I think youl be fine with 5r , it will sell of you dislike it... We rekon the Dura is certainly a stronger/tougher mat though.
