This short wave transmitter works well, just beware that if you follow the video step to step that the very first ceramic capacitor that is installed as per video is wrong. He notes that he’s installing the 104 ceramic capacitor when actually it’s the 332 ceramic capacitor that is installed first just after the first transistor you install. I notice this mistake as per schematic and everything else is correct. I installed an IC socket in place of the crystal so I could plug in various crystals frequencies. I used a 6 pin IC socket, cut it in half and then cut off the middle pin. I also used a stripped 20 gauge solid copper wire for the antenna. I’m using this for checking vintage restored broadcast/short wave receptions as per alignment instructions. Poor reception where I live so this solved my problem with checking the short wave band and I already had a AM and FM transmitter
I've one AM Transmitter schematic. Wanna build it?
Thanks a lot
This sounds like amazing advice! I’m just beginning to learn this topic
Hi where i connect the battery on the schematic?
Positive from battery connector to positive of the 100uF capacitor. Negative from battery connector to the #332 ceramic capacitor which is also connected to the emitter of the transistor.@@Evilslayer73
I have made it like your circuit. I use a 3.7 v power and it works like a charm with clear sound quality. Thanks for your sharing.
Works perfectly! Just be aware if you're assembling and watching the video. The first capacitor shown in the video is 3.3nF, not 100nF.
have you tried it ?
Nice project DIY Shortwave Transmitter it works also to follow your schematic diagram i have use 12.00Mhz exactly transmitted i dont know what is the range in a few parts!
Hi Stefan. What material do you use for sound output in a shortwave transmitter? Did you plug it into the microphone output of the computer? As far as I can see you are playing the youtube video. How do you establish the connection between the shortwave transmitter and the computer? What other material can be used for sound output in the shortwave transmitter circuit? I will be glad if you answer.
Pretty late, but hes putting it in the earphone output, the one where you plug earphones or boxes in
HE IS USING AN AUDIO OUTPUT JACK (RED AND WHITE PAIR WIRES), BUT IF YOU NEED TO USE THE MICROPHONE DIRECT TO THE CIRCUIT (TRANSMITTER)YOU NEED 1 ADDITIONAL TRANSISTOR-BASED PRE-AMPLIFIER, WHERE THE BASE OF THE TRANSISTOR WILL BE ATTACHED TO THE MIC WITH A 100K OHM RESTOR +V AND THE COLLECTOR WILL ATTACHED TO THE BASE OF THE 1ST TRANSISTOR .
@@ishtiaqkhan7101 do u have a circuit diagram for that one? I'm working on a project exactly like that
Simple & Great project .. thank you so much مشروع بسيط و جيد شكرا لك...
Can we use 12v adapter for vcc ?
Ótimo projeto amigo, parabéns pela sua criatividade.
hello from microphone input to this transmitter. Can it be sent by superimposing a square wave or a sawtooth wave?
Very cool project!!
Hi where i connect the battery on the schematics its not clear and the audio input ? :)can you tell me to which component they are connected? if i understand well the audio input goes to c4 and c3? im not an expert :)😅😉
Sir network jammer pe video lawo kaise frequency ko kaam ya jayda karke network jamme kare ..
Plz reply kijiye gaa
Totally bummed out cuz I don't have any capacitors under .22μF, meaning I don't have that last component. Hopefully I can scavenge one from something, cuz I am not yet old enough to buy things online.
Eine gute Sache
Excelente! Fiz um com 27mhz.
can u share your circuit diagram please
Did you use the same components in the video??
@@victorwando8950 Hello! I didn't use this video. It was another scheme, but this one in the video is better. I will do it and present it.
Can we use the same crystal oscillator to generate variable frequency pulses?
لا اعتقد ذلك لان المذبذب المتغير تختلف دائرته عن هذه الدائره
Hi,How powerful is it?
At best 30 yards
Vou fazer um teste
How would you adapt this to send CW (Morse)?
Can i use 16mhz crystal?
Hi Varun Manchanda , yes , you can , the frequency will be 16000 KHz (16MHz)
@@diyshow888 thank you :)
Are we use bc 547
Hi Killex , No, we use 2N3904 😊 , Regards
how far this can transmit?
distance kilometers broadcast area?
Hi!
Can you tell me how did you design your antenna? and what is the range of this transmitter?
Can I lower the crystal to 16khz so I can get a regular AM range? so its then AM not short wave?
Cheers
Hi ace swag LW, MW, SW are all AM ,you can give it a try :)
Did you use high voltage capacitors here?
Hi GreenHat No high voltage capacitors used
Hello, how can we use a microphone instead of an audio jack? What changes should be made in the circuit, thank you
check this video it covers that ruclips.net/video/fMFVc4c8yE4/видео.html
nice
How far can it transmit?
can this work in a normal fm radio or its a must it be on showrt wave mode
Hi @@victorwando8950 It's for short wave radio, if you want fm , please watch this video ruclips.net/video/FauFCfy4jeM/видео.html
hello how many milliwatts does the antenna circuit deliver? thank you
Calculate it
Around 1-10mW most likely.
Anyone tried it with 27mhz crystal?
Thanks, this really helps!
It's possible to buy one form you??????
Hi Video Musicali Rari in Tv , Sorry , but you can simply build one if you have those components 😊
I wanna build this circuit but my input signal is Morse code, it is a digital signal. I don't know How to do it. Do you have some ideal?
transfer morse code into beeps
i'd prefer higher fq's because you will need smaller antenna
What is the power output?
Hey i loved you content . Is it possible for you to make a receiver for the same ?
Hi Tech Inventor Aman
Maybe you can try TA7642 + LM386 😊

@@diyshow888 But tell me something the transmitter you made works on frequency modulation right , even if its short wave its basically frequency modulated. But this receiver is meant to read AM . Then how will that work ? Also i loved your content buddy could you ping me at amansinghaljpr@gmail.com , i would be more than happy to chat with you
Can we also make a receiver instead of using sw band
I think the answer will be something like :"try to make a sw band radio " 😂
@@diyshow888 so then my question is how to make a sw band
what is the transmission distance
best
Thanks
Por que no inscribe el diagrama ? O publica el diagrama porfavor
cct diagram?
Can you receive this crystal at a frequency 104 MHZ ?????????
It doesn't have a filter, so yes every 8mhz has a weaker spot.
What is the power of this?
It's 9V battery 😊
No I mean output power in mW.
Can we use 2n2222 transistor and 1mf capacitors¿
Hi New Creation , I didn't test 2n2222 , maybe you can give it a try 😊
@@diyshow888 thanks for your reply
@@diyshow888 can I ask you something?

yes
Circuit diagram?
Hi Andy , circuit diagram is in the description of the video.
@@diyshow888 Thanks. I didn't click "Show More" before, but now I see it!
I can never get perf board to work but maybe I just have cheap perf board

How to make mobile segnal boostre?
Don't this need a inductor ?
Hi Byond Theunivers , As you can see , no inductor needed 😊

Lol, but how ya know that freq.?
The Quartz Oscillator was also 8MHz
