Keep up the good work. Regardless of politics, voting is a sacred right. It's heartening to see people actively exercising and promoting that right. - Andy

"If ever you go to Dolgellau, don't stay at the Station Hotel, for there's nothing to put in your bethly, and no-one to answer the bell" approximates the pronunciation (the "ll" pretty badly; see also Fluellen, i.e. Llywelyn, in Henry V).
HMHB have played "Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau" (Land of my Fathers", the unofficial anthem, arguably the world's coolest) live, segueing into "Help Me Rhonda" (or possibly Rhondda). There's a famous video of John Redwood, then Secretary of State for Wales, then and now a political ashtray on a motorbike, flapping his mouth to it. There's an English transliteration on mud cat ("My hen laid a haddock in top of a tree").
The English took over Wales around 1280, and spent the next several centuries merrily suppressing its culture, as practice for later imperialism. The Welsh retaliated by installing a royal dynasty, the Tudors. I invite any Welsh viewers to expand upon that mini-diatribe.

The Joy Formidable have an ep of some of their early songs sung in Welsh. I just finished watching Hidden . I’d guess 25 percent of the show was in welsh. Not a bad cop show. As for the song , not an add.
