If you think about it, it makes sense that vampires don’t believe in ghosts. Only people who don’t believe in an afterlife would seek eternal life as a vampire.
What I thought was super sweet was that the horse's name isn't "John" with a weird accent. "Jahan" (roughly Romanized) is a Persian term of endearment meaning "universe", as in "my everything" :)
