I just watched this person snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, and then blame their team for it. Truly a gamer.
Usnt it a draw?

Emongg hit them with the "You ain't that gurl, you ain't ever been that gurl" 😂
Just because your a tank doesn't mean you don't need to use cover
Overwatch players in general don't seem to comprehend cover. They prefer to stand as in the open as possible

2 min into the game and rama is constantly standing in the middle of the open, doesn't use cover except on accident for the whole first point, gets pulled to better positioning twice and IMMEDIATELY runs straight back in, gets every single nade from his ana bc that's the only way they can keep him alive-
....bro, where did you get this ego? bc it sure as hell ain't been earned.
right like he has basically infinite resources in terms of health with lw ana, the fact that the ana has to waste even a single nade just to heal this guy is crazy
At 7:45 ish "You even have a thumbs up. Thinking this is going to be awesome." LITERALLY LOL. Good one. Haha.
Emongg should make a team of 5 players who all send in vods to flame their teammates. The flamming avengers. Whoever dies, its definitely not their fault.
Lmao I would love that 😂
Ah, the classic "i don't wanna blame my team, but we only lost because of my team" kind of guy...
18:12 is my favorite part because it sums up them wanting to be a big dps rather than actually tanking for their team. Not DMing your widow at all and watching her get sent by the javelin was hilarious
Edit: then she dies anyway because they refuse to dm again. Beautiful.
He saw moira stop healing him for 2 seconds (probably out of piss) and figured it was a support issue the whole time
As a support andy. There are so many times i ask the tanks to please stand near corners where i can heal them so they can move to the side and let me heal them up. And some tanks read it and instantly starts doing it and we pick up momentum. And others don't and start flaming me, while i'm just dying inside trying to still do my job even though i really don't want to.
Tanks who listen and adapt make me so happy 😫❤️
Personally when they don’t listen or they do whatever they want I stop healing them to find value elsewhere like healing other allies or doing dps to pressure the back. If my tank doesn’t bring me value I won’t invest cooldowns on him (Suzu lamp or whatever)
My husband does this constantly, and I have to remind him to stop standing on THAT side of the cart, hey you are los don't expect heals, etc. 😂
As a tank main, i sort of don't listen because I'm lost in the sauce trying to make space or block damage for other teammates, even worse as a Rein main, I usually don't have many options for retreat since bro has no movement lol
It’s not a tank job for you to heal them, support diff.
Nothing tilts me more than people just opening the scoreboard and reading out heroes/scores and thinking they’re making an argument for somebody playing badly. Room temp IQ behaviour.
🤣 room temp IQ
Also yeah, everyone compares damage numbers. Not even kill numbers. Like mf, you sitting there drilling the tank that gets healed the whole game doesn't really do anything
Mans positioning could definitely be better. Gotta say, his admission statement was not very respectful, not very mindful, not demure
What admission statement? Did I miss it?
The toxicity, ego and a sheer lack of intelligence evaluating the situation from teammates like this is far too relatable.
Man's straight up blames everyone else....while in gold...on tank...homie...I have bad news...its not your team
They said their heals was lacking and then 2 minutes in they lived that entire 1st point because of the heals
Homie is seeing Ashe nade getting thrown at him and isn't even eating it
Dm only eats during the throw so maybe they think it doesn’t eat at all 😭
@@spindless they think dm is just pretty visuals
5:55 with how fast you go to 0 seeing a ram pinned in a corner by the whole team and a mei wall life grip to reposition the tank to a place where they can play as a team. Basically 7:58 as an explanation of why it could be argued a good grip.
Fundamentally it's a trust issue. If the Ram stays in the doorway he's doing good work and getting healed. But IF he walks past the door he gets no heals, possibly gets slept or walled off or blocked by mei ice block and dies out of lifegrip range. The LW chose the play he could make now, rather than trust the Ram to not make that tank saving play impossible.
Ppl like this tank are the worst ppl to play with. You get blamed and yelled at by them but then you watch them stand in the open and get melted😂😭😭worst part is they turn a free win into a loss.
Hearing him tell tanks to wait to be healed instead of running in immediately is fucking therapy for the support players.
THIS ☝️☝️☝️ I hate it when my tank is blaming me for not healing them when they push in a 1v5 across the map while the rest of the team is on objective playing the game (it's almost always a Rein or a Mauga )
This is a DPS player on Tank which is why they barely use matrix. A tank main or support player would be using dm like they’re addicted to holding m2.
Oh man, pretty sure this guy is every tank I get in my games. Last night my 3 and 6 zarya was complaining that we all needed to step it up. I apologized after the match was over. I felt bad that I didn't allow him to take part in the 20 elims that me and our Sombra got that game while he beamed the Roadhog nonstop.
I feel you on that one. Had a tank once switch to Dva "to counter the Zarya" and then blamed EVERYONE ELSE for losing.
@@maxharvey165 I mean, Zarya isn't even that great of a counter against DVA if you're just endlessly shooting DVA. Most Zarya swappers I've seen try to shoot DVA instead of using their bubbles to protect team mates being dived.
@atlas3556 you're reading what I said all wrong. I'm saying my tank switched from rein to dva to counter the enemy zarya. The enemy tank never switched. My team was SCREAMING for the tank to switch back to rein because dva is useless against zarya, mei and Moira. My tank made a brainless move, we lost and blamed everyone
@@maxharvey165 Ik, I'm just saying that your tank could've made it work if they actually knew how to effectively fight Zarya as DVA. However, it only really works when a team is spread out and Zarya can't reliably bubble players who get dived. Considering however that the enemy team was running a brawl comp, that wouldn't really work anyways.
Honestly, your tank was probably trolling. There's no sane person who thinks that, in a brawl comp, DVA counters Zarya better than Reinhardt.
I remember a D.Va ulting when I was Lifeweaver and I quickly decided- "I'm not getting away from this, and neither is my Soldier 76 who's trying to get around the corner" So I actually pulled him closer to the D.Va bomb but saved him with the shield. He did die almost immediately after. He went "lifeweaver wtf was that pull?" after he died. I don't think he realized I protected him from the bomb while... not really sacrificing myself because I was dead anyway. Technically what I did was useless, but it's the thought that counts.

All honesty I think supports are the most important role, they keep everyone alive, can’t fight without heals, can’t win without fighting. I play tank always thank the supports
that's funny because i am a support main but I think tank is the most important role. i always thank the tank when they played well.
I love my tanks when I play support. Tanks who have support awareness and know we’re trying our best to help will always be my first endorse after the match win or loss
The beauty of overwatch! ^^😂❤ I play tank and dps mainly now, but I try to peel my supports and protect them when I can, though it drives me crazy if they play out of position in front of everyone. Used to main support, and I love being able to pull strings and control the pace of fights with map vision and comms
because they are, you can tell bcos GOATs easily and happily took out DPS players and we had to go 2-2-2 just so that dps players had a place to go. they're not shit by any means but they're not all that. you'd think tanks are the ones that are the most important bcos there's only one of them and they're at the 'head' of the team but like. supports can make or break a tank playing, no matter how good they are, without the proper support feels like no one can do anything at all, like gl playing dive with a mercy/zen backline while they're running dive with their ana/lucio, you're not getting any heals. there's a reason why when you get lw/mercy as your backline, you end up losing, trash sup combo with the way ow2 is played. always frustrating to see a sup instalock mercy without even seeing the rest of the team and then refusing to switch despite the fact you're running doom/tracer/venture/kiri. those are the people i don't peel for and just let die lmao.
As a majority tank player and going a little heavy recently into support I have some opinions about tanking from what I have seen as the tank and as support watching the tank. The tank sets the pace for their entire team. I mentioned this before either here or on Flats channel. I had a match where the tank started as a Winston and went to Doomfist. He never played with his team and fed like no other. Half way through the match he rage quit probably blaming his team. I join in and see the state of the match. I went Orisa at the time because that was my most played character.
I noticed how the team didn't play together at all and were off doing their own thing. The tone set by the tank before me. So I did the only thing I could and played the best I could and used my best judgement. What started as a loss with the most uncoordinated team turned into the other team getting steamrolled and my team never left my side. They gave me their all and did a complete 180 securing us the win.
As support I'm noticing the mistakes tanks are making. I'm seeing them get upset as they are getting themselves into positions that get them targeted by all 5 of the other team. I'm seeing them being behind Sigma shields stopping my Kiriko heals. I'm seeing them being reckless and leaving us to fend for ourselves. I have had my tank right next to me be so tunnel vision that they let someone 2 feet from them take me out of the fight. I have seen tanks be so erratic the dps doesn't know what to do. They want to support the tank, but the tank is leading them to get rolled. Even before the changes I don't think people understood just how important tank was.
A win is literally down to how good your tank is for the most part. A good tank can offset someone being not as good. In my case I was the unskilled player in that quickplay rq, but I still managed to turn the match around. Tanks literally make or break matches at times and I don't think it's fact less blame all the time. Everything the tank does down to the most minute decision determines weather you win or lose.
10:07 that whole situation happened because this tank went 1v5 into their backline and died the fight before allowing the whole enemy team walk in and push payload. He got himself staggered and then is dying when his team is alive n then he is alive when his team is dying. It’s amazing how unaware of himself this tank is.
on that defense fight (round 3) that the team clutched for them, I'd consider their push in the closest thing to hard throwing that can be done accidentally, considering they found the one place to be exposed to all enemies, lose LOS of both supports, AND they didn't even use their shift which they had the whole time !! (not to mention they panicked and wasted both of their other CDs for zero value)
31:55 Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! If my Mitigation numbers aren't in the ball park of the DPS Damage , I don't think I'm doing my main job as a tank. A TANK IS A DAMAGE SPONGE! I don't understand why folks wana play off-class
I don't think he's too aggressive, he just never blocks as ramattra. Making his supports work like crazy to keep him up
Life advice for real: "When you enable your teammates to pop off you enable yourself to pop off."
@2:20 preach it brother!!!
When LW came out, i was like "ah sweet, i can save my tanks and they will back up and let me heal them up all the way and we can regroup"
But what happens?
I save the tank, they hold W and die 1 sec later, then blame support for not enough heals :D
Nah, as a tank I usually just stop attacking at all after that. Like, I would only use defensive abilities (shields and such), back off and walk in circles around the LW. If you're clever enough, you'll learn the lesson, if not, well.. I better lose than let someone decide for me what to do. If you don't want your tank to play, so be it.
@@Iscoileachmeit is 1000% necessary, especially in low metal ranks, for life weaver to pull people out of bad positioning. Or tanks who aren't looking and didn't notice they're on 50 health.
@@JulianneTheChemistryStudent no it's 1000% overused which is especially dumb on payload maps on defense where you just give up space to the enemy team for no reason and then instead of +20 seconds getting back from spawn you get +3 minutes defense.
I get it, sometimes it might be necessary and some lifeweavers actually have good enough game sense to know when to pull but in my experience, that's not usually the case :(
@@Iscoileachme you talk exactly like the dude in this video lol, I want to see the vod of you standing in the middle of the street flaming your life weaver for pulling you out of a 1v5 while you're critical.
Haha had this DVA not chose to run into their team at the end after they rolled them their supports wouldn't have had to get off cart to heal the DVA and it was an easy win
cover will help this tank IMMENSELY.
however, this did remind me of a game where i was playing Ana and yall KNOW i was scoped in dpsing when my poor tank uses the "I need healing" button. i turn to see them patiently waiting behind cover, looking at me. i immediately use the "I'm sorry" button (i have it bound to a side mouse button because i got 12 of them) and start healing them while laughing so hard i legit had tears in my eyes. we became friends afterwards lmao
That's so sweet 🥺
@@AssoBestaTyyp it was such a delightful moment and interaction! ☺️ I felt so bad because they were doing all the right tank things, they were behind cover and asked for healing when they were about half health, and their main source of healing was scoped in dpsing 😂 but they thought it was funny too which was nice. I try really hard to pay attention to my tanks because the tank experience is rough but sometimes you're playing Ana and hitting your shots and they just have to wait 😂
Oh...the bots again lol
That final round should've been the freest win ever. Their moira got a pick on the ashe IMMEDIATELY. Definitely took too long to follow up
Another thing overly aggressive tank forget is, that the supports have to use the majority of their cooldowns and healing on them. And that in turn leaves the dps without much healing, so they have to play more passively
Just got done with a game last night (as LW) where my Hog kept popping off against opp Tank, but wasn't really peeling backline or making space. As LW I kept having to pull him from the middle of 3-4 as I saw the enemy team collapsing in on him and no teammates in a 1 mile radius. My LW philosophy is I would rather risk wasting your potential for a kill to guarantee your life.
Yup. I’ve definitely pulled tank back to force them to help the back line before too lol, sometimes they genuinely just don’t realize. Especially Reins, I love them LMAOO. They’ll go crazy deep and not realize we’re getting rolled in the back, I’ll yank him back and he’s confused for a second and then goes right back to swinging but in the backline for us lmao. Rein is my favorite tank synergy bc he just gets free bail out
As a non LW player sincerely let people make their dumb plays. Pull is the most obnoxious ability in the game
Sure, and I would rather risk walking around you in circles afterwards (effectively throwing) so that I make my point to you crystal clear. As a matter of fact, of like 8 people that I have ever reported and added to avoided in this game, 2 were weavers who pulled randomly...
@@Iscoileachme this. I deliberately go back in to send my LW a message. Stop messing with my gameplay. If I die, let me die on my own terms. And my plays are mine as well, never take my agency from me. LW is such an L hero to play with and against.
As LW, I give tank 2 chances to prove they know what they’re doing and have a plan. If during those 2 chances they die or both supports have to ignore dps to heal tank, I start pulling. I also specifically love playing lw with sigma and ram and tracking when they’ve used eat or block. Makes pulling a much easier decision and give them better positioning
Holy shit deadly pants on red! My nemesis! See that dude in game all the time lol
Pretty sure deadly pants is one of the AKA's so more than one person has it.
I bet you think you've actually fought Batman in Overwatch too
Bro deadly pants Is so powerful I got 2 of him in my game once
I had a similar minded tank a few days ago who thought he was carrying as a support on that map. He played Ram too funny enough. We got rolled first round and tank said "GG heals are bad and im doing so much" to which both of us as support just responded with lol. He had only top dmg and was something like 5-6 after the first round. After we lectured him about actually taking cover and not to facetank everything and to stop pushing in alone, he actually followed the advice and we won that game 5-3 lol.
Jez ... they ran into the enemies like bronze 5... and having such an ego ... wtf
Reminds me of a match I had. The tank was complaining of no heals, yet we had a sombra and tracer in our backline. (I was on support, Bap and Zen were our picks) I told them they needed to peel for us.
They told me to stfu and heal lmao. We lost that game. It was the supports fault because we didn't heal enough smh
THIS HAPPENS TO ME LITERALLY ALL THE TIME. From my experience, it's always a Rein, Mauga or ball. I watch my tank go into a 1v3 while the backline is getting fucked HARD and then blames us for no heals.
Edit : I forgot the average hardstuck Doomfist pushing alone and blaming the rest of the team for dying
26:10 "It's okay to take a second" - Separate point on why it IS okay: Whenever you take that time for the full heal, the corner/cover you occupy will naturally be a wall against the team, naturally generating threat. Then, once you're fully healed, you can go in and retake the inches they gained by waiting 5 seconds
Honestly i think most games are loat because of tanks doing something stupid. Sure there are the games you get with a supp who does no healing or a sombra going 5-15. But i have had plenty of those games where we still win. But its really hard to overcome bad tank play. Even if its a close game 90% of the matxh, its almost always the 2-3 times the tank inexplicably feeds that determines the outcome of the game. If a supp or dps gets pixked in overtime ypu can usually still put up a fight, but if the tank randomly decides to charge in 1v5 at 50% health and dies, it becomes a roll. And unfortunately it seems like most tank players have some sort of condition that compells them to do this at random intervals. Even when things are going good. I literally just had a game where we were holding at 2nd point until OT and iur Dva got demeched. We were still ok and the enemy was at the bottom of the hill and no threat. But for some reason our tank decided to charge out of cover as baby dva and charge 1v5. Then it was a roll after that. There is no explaining the mind of a tank player.
That shovel knight music is still so good
they literally threw 😭
Decent aim and tracking on dva. Got potential
6:48 Chat is just always looking to complain. Every player makes mistakes. But what we’re looking for are mistakes that need to be corrected
22:48 again he is just sitting on the payload instead of moving forward and securing forward space for the team
the amount of times I life grip a tank on half health cause they're surrounded or something similar and they immediately jump back in and die
woof..... this gameplay made me super frustrated. lol
This hurt soo much to watch
Mhmmm. Just LOVE when my lifeweaver pulls me the SECOND I use my ult as Zarya, ruining the ENTIRE ult. Sooo great. Lmao
tbf at the end if somebody stayed on cart while he pushed up towards the alley making space they win so his team did misplay that at the end
as orisa main, that button smash at the end was painful to see
Something I've noticed in lower ranks games : if the tank is lacking, it's REALLY hard for the rest of the team to be good enough to carry. If your tank is too dumb to help the rest of the team, you won't be able to do much to help your tank. And it's really annoying when this happens and the tank is blaming EVERYONE but themselves

I love playing with Yuno. But I don't have much knowledge on counter-play.
In which situations would you advise not to use her under any circumstances? ^^
Or contest from high ground
Music was slightly jarring in this one. Otherwise loved it :)
Gold widow pop off and make a play with reaper and sombra there? What would you think she was gonna do? Close rather headshot. Both those dps have escape abilities. Dva did the right thing there. She pushed the dps's abilities out to attempt to save her team. She peeled. Which is more than my tanks do for me. I think the dva carried. Decent target priority and really carried that attack push
One play decides if they're good or not ? From what I've seen, that tank belongs in silver/bronze. They're blaming everyone else for their shitty plays instead of admitting they were out of position and peeling for their backline.
The Ram barely used his nemesis Block, taking way too much damage
I get not everyone is not good at a character but that Ram gameplay hurt my soul
Well they didn't blame LITERALLY everyone else, or they'd be blaming the other team too.
I swear this guy is every Dva I get but every dva I play against straight up DMs EVERYTHING. Every ult every ability they’ll fly into me with dm and rockets going off, And then when they see tank low they’ll go and put DM on them so we can’t heal. But the ones I get!? THE ONES I GET IN THIS RANK WE CALL “GOLD”?! Nah I’ve actually seen Dvas fly into hits an dps and fall over instantly. I’m beginning to question if Dva blocks Zarya beam because every Dva I get apparently thinks she can. (Seriously though can she? Like this is all the time now) sometimes I just have to sit back and accept my L with a smile on my face because if I don’t smile I’ll never play this game again

how? that's wild but at least you know now gl out there
@@isaiahf-d846 bro I just hit diamond and this is new information lmao
I know for a fact at least 1 support is spamming group up
Based just on description: "round one, I didn't enable my dps and thus they couldn't get anything done, round two, I took so much damage no support could out heal it " like you're the tank, if the dps aren't doing enough, all you can do is find a way to take pressure off them. Same with support, get shot less and mit more. Whining at them isn't helpful and the randoms you get next game are going to do the same shit.
Does emongg get submissions from people that can be realistic about their impact on the match??
Do you do these video like while they are playing I would love to see you watch them play a game then second game give the advice you saw they needed from the first and see how much they progressed
he has done something like that for svb who had decided to learn dva, but he has not so far done this with a viewer.
this was p fun; they’re not a bad player & their issues are v fixable because they’re more gamesense-based than skill issue (besides the DM use). i’d even recommend they spend some time playing support so they can get a sense of how important it is to be in line of sight, retreat when necessary, peel, & be aware of flanks or dives. 🎉 but it wasn’t a dps or support issue. it was a tank tunnel vision issue.
Am i just strange because i think it's always my fault i lose games

Just play diva when you have a dps diff. She has no counters if you’re playing her right. Never fight the tank if you play diva

I tend to have the opposite problem with my supports. I'll be asking all match why they are constantly dead and between rounds they will type in chat that they are constantly dying to sombra or reaper in the back line and aren't getting any help. My only response in that situation is, "If you're having trouble in the back line, why aren't you pinging or asking for help? I'm not a mind reader, I can't see the whole match. If you ping for help and I'm available to help, I will come back there and help you. But you're not telling anyone when you need help!" We have all these communication systems in the game, and no one uses them. It's frustrating.
just stay with your support and keep note of where they are. it’s. also very easy as a support to get separated from the team and now you’re getting spawncamped and bullied by sombra
I uh. Think that maybe he was onto something with LW specifically, gosh that was rough and never got better. But generally - I think that was a team out of sync. I don't think any one role was at fault but there was just a variety of different playstyles happening and nobody seemed to know what to do.
That’s gold for you. I got up to diamond 3 before the MMR reset and have been held hostage in low to mid gold because of this.
@@bleachigo990 That's rough. Yeah, gold and silver are both legitimately possible to get lost in if your skillset is anything OTHER than pure mechanical over performance, simply because people either behave so dumb they're essentially throwing, or they actually do throw because somebody didn't swap to their demanded pick (which was usually a bad suggestion anyway, but they don't know that)
@@shioramenrabbit yup. Then you can forget trying to group up during overtime.
Nah, the life weaver was way smarter then this tank, all of those grips are because he won't use cover, won't back off, won't stop going into 3-5 people and doesn't use his defensive abilities
@@ace8099 It's not LW's job to play someone else's character for them is the point - he was wasting his own utility that he could've put to far, far better use. Also, some of those pulls especially early on were indefensibly bad and messed up team engagements.
You want to have an accidental 4v5? Pull the tank out and leave a DPS in that was safe to die. The difference between a good LW and a bad one is knowing when pulling is going to hurt more than help. It's why good mercy's are usually good lw's - they're pretty much the only two characters that have to understand when you need to let someone spend their life and when to keep yours.
I think the players in these are ragebaiting so they're game gets reviewed tbh
Nah people are really this toxic. Almost every single game it is either someone on my team or the enemy team blaming someone else. I’ve had multiple games of people on my team arguing who was carrying harder only to go from a sure fire win to a defeat as someone either starts throwing on purpose b/c how dare someone else have a impact or they argue so much they’re no longer paying attention to the enemy. I no longer doubt the toxicity or the density of people.
Definitely certain people do that, but this guy played good enough to make me believe he's just lost on what he's doing wrong. Seemed lost on what supports are and aren't expected to do. Gotta remember some people do get egos high enough to send games where they do bad but believe they're not the problem.
10:43 this point on the map is awful. Where do you back out? On the stairs for everyone to see you? Into first spawn to get trapped into a sandwich? Walk all the way across in the open to corridor stairs on the right? There's no backing up here 😭

Idk , he’s not too bad ngl. His team did throw a fair bit. If I’m being unbiased
Wow this is cringe tank gameplay. He’s just standing in the open, lets Zarya just walk in, runs back in when LW pulls him. If a LW pulls you, it’s for a reason.
even good lifeweaver pulls just dont feel good, i think pull is the worst ability in the game, we used to complain about CC and loosing control of your character and now its happening from your own team
yesterday i played for like 6hrs queued as dps and support, like 70% of my games i had tanks like him, playing WAY to offensive without in mind where his/her team is, blaming the dps or supports, which follows into pure toxicity, and if you give them advise which would help the whole team, they get defensive and compare stats on the scoreboard, its so frustrating to realize the biggest enemy you have is your own team (im playing gold 1/plat 5 elo on both roles)
