I had ordered my Grizzly V52 on June 12, 2021 and I was really excited about the purchase. Went out and bought all these accessories for the bike expecting delivery on July 15, 2021 but that never happened. 4 months went by, still no delivery and all I got from Ariel Rider was excuses so I cancelled my order for something better. I was refunded my money in 2 days, I ordered the Spark Cycleworks Bandit with dual batteries on October 5 and it was delivered to me in 1 week. This eMoped is the truth and it's definitely worth every penny I paid for it.
All these Ebikes are limited to 20 for legality reasons most of not all can be unlocked to go faster tho 28-30 is max for most this one is a bit more peppy than most.
I ordered my Ariel Rider Grizzly V52 on June 12th of this year and it'll be shipped out on July 31st. I already purchased custom upgraded parts so once it arrives I'll put everything together carefully, go into the settings menu to fully unlock this bike, charge the batteries and then take it out on a full ride the very next day. If you go to the Ariel Rider website now to order the Grizzly V52 it's completely sold out so I'm happy I purchased it when I did.
Stay on the fence it'll be months before the Grizzly is ever delivered and you'll wind up cancelling you're order. It's a great bike but Ariel Rider can't make good on delivery.

I have nothing against the Grizzly at all but the Ariel Rider company itself was my problem. Don't advertise made in the USA but you're product comes from China.

@@mando2.049 the thing is that even though the motor upgraded the controller can not take that many watts I think so if you upgrade the controller it would unlock the true potential of this bike thus reaching 50 miles an hour which would be oh so fun!

Have the first wave dual 750w version and I love it! Great city ride. Lots of power, gear function is flawless, brakes are strong. No issues since opening the box. Possibly better range than the 1000w version as there is less power draw. Only minor nits are: two different keys, one for each battery. Wish they were keyed the same. Also, two chargers needed to charge both batteries simultaneously, but it only comes with one. So far, to my knowledge, you still can't buy a second 52v charger from Ariel. Which is annoying for overnight charging. Another small caveat is legroom is short with the single saddle. (You can sit back with the dual saddle, but I chose to have a luggage rack. You can't have both.) Not too bad because little pedal effort is needed and throttle works great. It is more like a moped than a pure bike. Some quirks, but overall, I just love riding this thing.

Looks like a real fun bike. I just wish that it had all the intigrated street safety gear that my juiced Hyperscorpion comes with - turn signals, brake light and motorcycle horn. You trying to alert nearby cars with that little bell just made me cringe everytime.

Love your guys’ videos. I ordered a Grizzly because of your vids on it. I was between the Grizzly and the Blade 2 by Rize bikes. I ordered a Rize RX Pro and it’s an amazing EBike! It was my first EBike. I have a Kaboo Wolf Warrior 11, this started my personal electric vehicle obsession! LOL. I ended up canceling my Grizzly order a couple days ago and ordered a Blade 2. Have you guys tested Rize Bikes? The Blade 2 looks awesome and theres a few videos on it on RUclips.

You mentioned you were unable to get up that 30 degree hill on throttle alone. Could you do it in a lower gear? It seems that with 2000 watts you ought to be able to get up a hill like that without pedaling.
Since they converted to 1000 watt motors, this is going to be a motorized vehicle in most States because Federal law is still at 750 watt. So people will need to register and license the bike and conform to motorized vehicle laws.
@@JmieRUclips yeah change the gearing you can still pedal at high speeds like a road bike, speed tops out because the motors can't produce anymore momentum.

Hi All, I'm almost 60 year old man who bought an electric bike because he had surgery on both needs but found out that even biking makes my knees swell up. I was thinking of purchasing an electric scooter to ride with the family so I didn't feel left out. I know nothing about electric scooters. A few things I would like to see is a big deck, extremely comfortable for an older person. At least 30 in speed and a decent amount of battery. I had it limited too the wolf King or the vsett 10+r. Does that mean anyone have an opinion on these or anyone have a suggestion that may be better. Budget: 1500 to 3000
Hi Jack! I would worry about you standing too long on a scooter due to your new knees, that I would try to look for a seated scooter or step thru ebike with a trigger throttle. If you are set on scooter, I would prefer the VSETT 10+r over the Wolf King. Lots of different options so more details would help me choose the best PEV for you. How tall are you?
@@Andrew-vt4jt 6'0 and 265 lb.. My knees don't hurt standing, only if I over work them. My plan was to ride my bike one day and give my knees a break and take the scooter the next day. Using the Ebike 3 to 4 times a week, blows my knees up.
Since this ebike is so powerful over grass why didn't the rider just pass people that had baby strollers/kids/dogs/etc with them by just swerving around them on the grass? He unnecessarily "dinged" people off the beaten path in my opinion. Great review otherwise.

No it wont. It will have more torque/acceleration to reach top speed quicker and better climbing power

@@oddtechman the power does not change but Ariel Rider suggest to keep both batteries on and they will deplete at even rates.

The motors are geared, not direct drive; and they have steel gears instead of plastic/ nylon for longevity. I'll take the noise for these features.
I think if you put some street tires on there it'd be a lot quieter and smoother may go a little faster

I use a Dragy system to track the speed. It's accurate but you have to buy a $150 satellite box from them.
