These trees might be older than my family’s history…

Silly Goldthread, if the tree's older than your family history, you wouldn't have existed.

I know. I was recommending a tea called "Old Tree Yunnan" once in this forum that was just toxic with tea snobs, and this thought-she-was-an-expert had fits that "it's a bush, not a tree." I still laugh at her and her cohorts who clearly dont know half as much as they think.

Wow, that would be amazing to see someday. I too believe in how keystone trees protect the forest.

Thank God the British didn't know about this tree, or else they'd probably uprooted the tree and brought it back to Buckingham Palace during the European invasion of China at the end of Qing dynasty.

Let's say the 2000 years old tea tree really has spirit, and you guys drink the leave/body of the tree's grand-grand-grand-grand-grandson in front of it. How does it make it feel?
