Love the Queen Mary. Been a couple of times. Been once on the ghost tour. Loved all the rooms they have set up. The haunted houses looked fun. Thank you for taking us along.
The Queen is lovely at night! The Spruce Goose used to be in that domed hangar - the plane Howard Hughes’ built in the 40’s during WWII. I think? It’s in Oregon now.
I haven't been to Dark Harbor since before the pandemmy. SO much fun. My friends and I used to go to the Queen Mary almost every weekend back in the mid 2000s. Our group are vintage enthusiasts (Art Deco period) and would go dressed up in vintage clothing and dance at the Observation Bar.
I’m looking for ghosts in your vid. 😂👻 I love the history. When I win the lottery I’m booking a room there for sure. Also, Booooooo to the Dodgers winning. 😤😂 HIGH FIVE TO A FELLOW PINEAPPLE PIZZA FAN!! Yasssss brother! 👏👏👏👏
The Queen Mary is actually about 100 feet longer than the Titanic. It was used in WWII to transport soldiers painted gray and was nick named the gray ghost. I learned this when I worked there in the 90s.
"Fun" Fact: The Queen Mary killed my Great Grandfather! When it collided with, and cut in half the HMS Curacao in 1942...he was a signalman below decks and stood no chance as both halves of the ship went under fast. Been there a few times and stayed the night a couple times! Its pricey, but they brought back their Sunday Brunches again and its something to definitely do at least once. Also, the main restaurant onboard is pretty good and the prices are reasonable and in some cases cheap for what you get!
@@demonoid7469 Oh wow, that's some interesting history for sure! So the Queen Mary is a way is kinda close to your heart. I'll definitely have to stay on this ship one day. It would be a really cool experience.
UPDATE: on the Dome, it is njow the3 property of Carnival Cruises to/from Mexico. DON"T PANIC YOUR NOT ON THE TITANIC, the the ROYAL MAIL SHIP RMS QUEEN MARY
