I would actually enjoy watching your interpretation of explaining shaiko and bolo peeks and maybe some nuances of when a player should be the aggressor in a gunfight and times to take it slow great vid
@zzz-xcl Appreciate it. I can cover Shaiiko and Beaulo peeks in a dedicated peeking guide. The nuances of gun fighting would have to be spread out across multiple vids tho. Siege is a complex game, and correct pacing requires a lot of gamesense to determine. It’s an art form
Well i come from csgo and one thing i have to tell you is that if you are starting out and you are on 16:10 or 16:9, you should stay there, you lose vision in 4:3
Good video ESPECIALLY for a list-tips-video, which are normally a mess. keep it up. may take time until it takes traction. but this video is everything a good video needs: actually helpful tips, good editing, clear and not boring voiceover. this should work. good luck with that. Oh and I am interested in everything you sugested ;)
Until recently, I had to use a standard office-sized mousepad. So I HAD to have high sensitivity just to look around without lifting my mouse 2-3 times. Finally got a big pad... and my laptop battery decoded to quit. Still waiting on the replacement...
Idk if night mode helps. I can hear footsteps better, but it sounds like 2D, with HI-FI I can tell much easier where the sounds are coming from. Maybe I'm wrong tho.
Great video and great tips, i just dont agree with one of them, which is the first one. It sounds good on paper and makes sense but in actuality night mode throws you off a little more distance wise. Other people have also proven it wrong and ive tried it myself. I'd be playing close with shotty and someone who is literally 2 rooms away going on their drone sounds like they are right around the corner on my door. And someone breaking/blasting open a window/door might sound a little further than they actually are. Tv mode is perfectly fine, i can still hear all the super quiet sounds without bursting my eardrums from guns and explosions.
That works. I’ve used all three modes, and I’ve found nightmode most worth for hearing ridiculously quiet audio. I’ve learned to adjust for the distance and directional weirdness in Siege
@Noend-R6S yea that's fair, I used it for a decent amount of time but never got used to it, it is definitely possible to learn it tho as you have. it is just harder for new players or other people like me who have come from other games like cs. Especially when hearing distance is much more important in a game like siege.
With the misuse of "sound queue" util in lower ranks and the tendency to ignore util entirely in higher ranks, higher emphasis on quiet audio is crucial. Even in my comp days, I would always prefer intel based visually from a teammates drone or a flank cam. The most inconsistent audio I would need to hear were rat plays after a barbed wire or melusi wub was destroyed or an attacker moving to pinch me while roaming. Judging distance is important, but misjudging distance on audio won't get you killed as often as outright not hearing audio.
I think my biggest problem when playing is that i panic a lot, especially when in a 1v3 scenario. I've had so many times where i could've won the game for my team but choked
@@Noend-R6S maybe something along the lines of how to get better at ranked in console and rank up faster. Bc it's hard for me to rank up bc I'm what some would call unpredictable bc I don't do the same thing every time, I change up tactics every game and every match
I have a mid tier audiophile grade headset. You will miss quieter sounds while louder audio is playing on hifi. You can hear footsteps even during gunshots on night mode. That trumps the slightly better distance readability on hifi.
@@Noend-R6S yes nightmode is good for people on budget headsets, i used to play on nightmode because thats what multiple people would play on, ive asked pro’s and was surprised to hear they prefer hi-fi which i thought was odd until i tried it, climbed almost 200 elo in champ in a day
our south african servers are dead for ranked so i play on eu servers with 180ping and i could shoot a guy in the head 5 times and to 2 damage and get shot when i am behind a hard wall sucks

I need to learn how to quick peek swinging left man, it's starting to hold me back (and retaining the information from the quick peek)

W video man you should do operating guides like “how to rank up “ with castle or ace
I could work on operator guides in the future
Will for sure remember some of those, also would love to see that movement guide video you spoke
Anything specific you'd like to see covered in the movement guide?
