A beautiful day in Rome started with a city tour by the open bus where you can check the most touristic sites.
First, we stopped by the Colosseum, the largest amphitheater still standing in the world but unfortunately, we couldn’t visit it because we needed a prebooking.
Next, the cathedral of Santa Maria Maggiore, one of the greatest churches, it should be on your bucket list.
At Caffarel we tried the panettone, the crunch of figs and jam is amazing, the dough is great, the fermentation is natural.
Arriving to the Vatican, we did a quick visit from the outside and then we had delicious ice cream at Gran Caffe Rossetti.
For dinner we visited Antica Trattoria al gallinaccio, the menu is divided in a nice way, no loud music, the decoration is very nice, and the food is just exceptional.
