I was born raised in Hanover! Beautiful Parish, lots of great memories. To this day I travel to Jamaica every year and I still stay in the District where I was raised. Awesome vacation every time.❤🇯🇲

Fresh natural fruits & ground provisions. Fresh mountain air ect the list is long I even lived there for a few yrs when my mom came to the states 🙏🏾 beautiful place to live
My great great grandmother is from Hanover I was born in Lucea Hospital and I think to this day this is one of the best parish small but beautiful, Hanover is in my blood and I can't getit out,everything good to say about my parish

I am from Hanover in the district of Askenish at the foot of the Dolphin Head Mountain.Hanover is a quiet Parish.Dolphin Head mountain is over looking Westmoreland and a part of Montego Bay.back in the seventies it used to be tourist attraction.they were called Hippies.😅I love my Parish, a lot of attraction to enjoy.

Oh yeah! Born, raised in Hanover, below the Dolphin Head Mountain. I attended Rusea's High School nestled right in the area of Fort Charlotte. That's where my friends and I used to go and study, next to the old cannons. It's a very historic place in Lucea. I'm quite familiar with all the places you mentioned in Hanover. I know the story of the clock in Lucea. It was meant for St Lucia, that's true. Hanover is the forgotten parish, unfortunately. I wish it would be more recognized for its history. Thank you very much for publishing this rich history of Hanover, my birthplace.

That's my place where I grew up. You are definitely correct. Most people try to undermine the truth and beauty of this little parish. I was employed at The Tryall Club. It's a gem of its own. There are a lot of wealthy people that have residents there including one of the greatest boxers. Lenox Luis. The golf course is breathtaking. Round Hill is also another gem. But sadly their post address normally said St. James.
I live in lucea Hanover ,however it just a tiny one way street complete the walk around it town in 10 mins and there the town is finish with it's tiny spaces .it has a hospital Fire station, tax office ,nis office ncb bant Scotia,jn,credit union these are the major inputs in the parish capital and supermarkets
