I grew up admiring those Victorians in Brooklyn and one day my mother took me to one of her friends’ and it was just as beautiful on the inside. Every home in New York. I remember spending so much time analyzing every detail❤

@@schmancy2978 yeh its the colors i was thinking looking at the video giving the beautfy of these houses than the damp and grey depressing looking ones we have here in london
Please Do a video on the protocol of the lavish debutante balls they used to give durning the coming out season, when young ladies were introduced to Society.
I've always loved Victorian style architecture. I like all the variations. However, I absolutely love the ones that are just way way over the top in details and design. More is more lol. The southern states have a huge amount of Victorians as well. Mississippi, Arkansas, Georgia and South Carolina to name a few. Unfortunately, the number has diminished over the years as many fell into ruin and demolished. But thankfully some people had the foresight to do architectural salvage of anything they could. Gives those trying to restore a historic house the opportunity to find much needed items. We don't have a very long history compared to many other countries. So we should do what we can to treasure and respect what we do have.
I'm glad you featured Victorian Flatbush and Saratoga Springs. Brooklyn has the most diverse architecture of any large city of its type in the nation.
We couldn’t agree more. Thanks for watching!
They are very beautiful when maintained - especially concerning the exterior painting.
