I know Shania isn't usually put up there with the greats vocally, but I've always found her to be an exceptional singer. Absolutely NOBODY can sing this song like her, she sounds so expressive, earthy, calm, and loving.
I'm more a fan of her faster music but for real Shania is an icon and deserves all the recognition in the world.

She is! And, I am heavenly blessed to be with the male angelic counterpart! I am totally amazed at the blessing that I has been bestowed on me! I had been dealt some very hard life's lessons; I made poor choices; suffered a nervous breakdown brought on by mental exhaustion that ricocheted thru my family...my heart felt like a pound of ground beef that had been left out in the elements and almost liquified in the food processor. Apparently, God felt I deserved a Guardian Angel to mend the remnants of my heart and this GA is exemplary! Also, one of God's Finest Creations!
Not only is this song so relaxing and beautiful, I remember listening to it for the first time.. one of the those late night car rides home and I couldn’t get over how much this song related to how I was feeling in my life, I was longing for a man in my life , and I felt like the woman in me had so much to give to a man as well. Love is a beautiful thing, even when you don’t have it, but your longing for it, it’s such a hopeful sweet feeling!

I'm watching a Behind the Music episode of her right now and this is one tough, strong, independent, selfless, courageous, most humble artists of my time! That's how I became a country music fan when I was 18. I'M 31 now....I would put it on the country station hoping to hear a specific song..and slowly fell in love with other songs...and then it was just one after the other. And now its my favorite genre.

Back in 96, I was a percussionist in a country band in bay area, I saw a beautiful woman line dancing, During our break I thought what the heck I'm going to say hello, She came back the following week to hear us play again, we got coffee after, we were married 17 years, I lost her to cancer, she was my rock, during that break we took that night in 96, they played Shania Twain songs, that's why I never forget.
Watched Shania’ s Netflix doc recently, I was intrigued by the music video that was shot in Egypt. Absolutely blown away by this amazing song. How come not many people mentioned this song more often.
