Not at the time. This song was huge. It hasn't aged as well as her more pop-centric songs, but I would not characterize it as under-rated. In my book this is her best song in a long storied career.

Not only is this song so relaxing and beautiful, I remember listening to it for the first time.. one of the those late night car rides home and I couldn’t get over how much this song related to how I was feeling in my life, I was longing for a man in my life , and I felt like the woman in me had so much to give to a man as well. Not a huge country fan, but this song is fabulous. I remember when she came out this song I instantly fell in love with it. I would watch the country music station hoping that I would catch the video. Love the cinematography, it's romantic, it's soft, it's sensual, it's pretty, she's pretty. The lyrics are incredible. One of my favourites from her.
That's how I became a country music fan when I was 18. I'M 31 now....I would put it on the country station hoping to hear a specific song..and slowly fell in love with other songs...and then it was just one after the other. And now its my favorite genre.

This has been and still is my ALL-time favorite Shania Twain song, hands down for me! I'm watching a Behind the Music episode of her right now and this is one tough, strong, independent, selfless, courageous, most humble artists of my time! This song takes me back so many years ago to when I just knew I was in love, I didn't have the slightest clue what love was 27 years ago, but this song right here saw me through many heartbreaks I have to say and to know that she actually wrote these lyrics herself is another amazing accomplishment in itself! So very talented you are Shania Twain! I've adored your music for the past 27 years and I continue to listen to your music and will continue and on and on and on. The lyrics of this song get me every time and I'm not always strong, and sometimes the world wants way to much and I tune into some music by this amazing artist, and drift away for as long as I need to. I’ve been there, and they are extremely good people. It’s also an absolutely beautiful country to visit. The costs are low, the scenery is incredible, and the people treat you fantastic. Try visiting the country before criticizing it.

That's how I became a country music fan when I was 18. I'M 31 now....I would put it on the country station hoping to hear a specific song..and slowly fell in love with other songs...and then it was just one after the other. And now its my favorite genre.
It was a Shania Twain song that made me a committed country music listener and I pretty much stopped listening to country after she quit. I guess I'm a Shania fan through and through.

I know Shania isn't usually put up there with the greats vocally, but I've always found her to be an exceptional singer. Absolutely NOBODY can sing this song like her, she sounds so expressive, earthy, calm, and loving.
