    2*x + 1 = 9*(3*x - 1), x > 1/3
    10 = 25*x
    x = 2/5 = 0.4

      Dude, you failed math at 03:00. In general, log(a) - log(b) ≠ log(a)/log(b) . Discard that line, and continue with log(a) - log(b) = log(a/b) . This is the 2nd video in which you failed miserably.

      Using the base conversion rule, we have:
      log(27)/log(a) + log(4)/log(b) = 5; a, b > 0; a, b ≠ 1
      log(3³)/log(a) + log(2²)/log(b) = 5
      3*log(3)/log(a) + 2*log(2)/log(b) = 5
      There's an infinite number of solutions. An obvious integer solution is a = 3, b = 2. But I can find many others, such as:
      a = 1/3, b = ⁴√2
      a = √3, b = 1/4;
      a = 27, b = √2;
      b = 4, a = ⁴√27;
      ...
      If a = b, we have log(27*4) = log(a⁵), or a = b = ⁵√108 .

    My way of solution ▶
    log₃(2x+1)= 2+ log₃(3x-1)
    log₃(2x+1) - log₃(3x-1) = 2
    log₃ [(2x+1)/(3x-1)] = 2
    3ˡᵒᵍ₃ [⁽²ˣ⁺¹⁾/⁽³ˣ⁻¹⁾] = 3²
    (2x+1)/(3x-1)= 9
    27x-9= 2x+1
    25x= 9+1
    25x= 10
    x= 10/25
    x= 2/5
