Just discovered this channel, and i like it! Just for your knowledge, you need to be a little bit more smooth while talking, it feels robotic sometimes, besides that, really good quality
Half of this video could literally be Alonso vs most of his teammates: Alonso 11 wins - Massa 0 wins (Ferrari 2010 - 2013) Alonso out-qualifying Vandoorne 18-0 (McLaren 2018 ) Alonso 14 wins Fisichella 2 wins (Renault 2005 - 2006) Alonso 54 points - Button 21 points (McLaren 2016) - Not a huge difference, but notable because Button was a world champion. Alonso 161 points - Räikkönen 55 points (Ferrari 2014) - Again, Kimi was a highly rated world champion like Button Alonso 26 points - BOTH Piquet and Grosjean 0 points (Renault 2009) - Making Alonso Renault's only point scorer. He did finish behind Button on points in 2015, but this was because of reliability issues, and was ahead on track 75% of the time. Although he did get matched by that Hamilton guy in 2007 who went on to be fairly successful.
after Graham Hill's accident Lotus never really had a great driver pairing John Miles and Dave Walker a fact about this was that only 1 car scored constructors points so a 1 driver team. A few are 1 driver teams only focused on the no.1 driver. Also 2016 Toro Rosso Sainz and Kyvat literally 1 driver team alot in 2016
Anyone that has looked into Formula One's own history of course is not ignorant to the fact that teams have been absolutely shameful in their treatment in certain conditions when talking about drivers. Especially during the 80s and 90s. It's laughable to think that both drivers are in the exact same cars. Being a lesser accomplished driver, and becoming teammates w/ Senna, Schumacher, ect.. Was pretty much a certainty of being the "other guy"
I don't think JJ Lehto performed too badly against, qualifying just 0,5 seconds behind Schumacher in his first qualifying session in the B194 with a neck he had broken 4 months previous
That is a bit hard on laffite Because of what happen in 81 Willams has a clear Nr 1 . apart from the first 2 races in 82 they did have untill 85. Daly and Laffite had both clear Nr 2 Contracts and Cars.
Yoongs gap to Webber was reasonable(given thé car difference) by thé end of thé season. It was too late for Alex by then. Yoong did Win some A1 Grand Prixs though.
I don't agree with Senna vs. Dumfries. Senna was given special qualifying engines by Renault, while Dumfries had to compete with what simply wasn't good enough for Senna and just not close to what Honda, Ferrari and BMW had either. He was really just someone to put into a second car by Lotus aswell, after all Lotus has a history for not caring much about their second drivers. I'm sure that if Johnny was given the same treatment, he could've done much better.
Not necesseraly mismatches... Maybe drivers like the late John Miles weren't F1 material, but he was unlucky with a teamboss like Chapman. He only paid attention to his nummer one driver. Rindt got money to travel, Miles had to pay his own fares ...
I thought i read that the Lotus of Johnny Dumfries was not the same as Sennas , Senna got all the new parts and different engines as well and Dumfries was just a slave .
He was about 4 seconds off in qualifying. Can't imagine it was much worse than for Elio-De Angelis who was very compétitive with Senna in 1985. Dumfries hadn't drive an open wheeler over 180 bhp prior to F1.
You going to give Herbert a pass?!?! How about the 95' season when Schumaher dominated him or Schumacher dominating Ervine. Or Schumaher dominating Barichelo
Hébert was far closer than Verstappen who cost Benetton thé constructors championship. Herberts 44% of Schumachers points head To head is far better than Verstappens 13%...not to mention winning races when Hill and Schumacher were out of thé race.
Barrichello wasn't a mismatch. He had 80% of Schumachers points in 2004. Mismatch means they are useless as a number 2 driver. Berger was dominated by Senna but proportionately scored at six times thé rate of Andretti visa vis Senna in 1990-1991. Mansell and Piquet dominated Patrese but thé Italian scored a decent haul of points most seasons and got some poles. Nowadays standards are much Higher on top teams. Kovalainen got fired despite Scoring half thé points of Hamilton. Dumfries had 6% thé points of Senna and Gutierrez 7% of Hulkenbergs! Bottas was nearly fired for only getting 62% of Hamiltons points in 2018( and finishing an uninspired 5th in thé final four races)
@@adampetten5349 You’re right about Barrichelo. There were multiple instances where he either had to give way to, or not pass, Schumacher even though he was faster. I think one of those was even at Spa
Dumfries was 3.9 seconds off Senna on Saturday! Thé lightning quick De-Angelis was 0.7 seconds off and quick Andretti 1.7 seconds off. Thé closest anyone came in qualifying over a season was a 0.425 second average déficit for Berger in 1990. Mansell and Prost were as quick as thé Austrian over a lap(shown when teammates) but favoured setup. Thus Prost did far better than Gerhard despite a 0.8 second déficit To Ayrton over their Two seasons as teammates.
Try and get your speech more fluid mate. At the moment it sounds very much like you’re reading the script word by word. Try reading through sections numerous times or something before recording them so you can get the annunciation right. Just get yourself more familiar with what you’re saying and it will sound more relaxed.
Alonso and Fisichella Alonso and Grosjean Alonso and Massa Alonso and Piquet Alonso and Raikkonen Alonso and Vandoorne Button and Sato Frentzen and Hill Gasly and Kvyat Hamilton and Kovalainen Hulkenberg and Gutierrez Kubica and Petrov Leclerc and Ericsson Leclerc and Vettel Prost and Rosberg Ricciardo and Ocon Rosberg and Nakajima Sainz and Kvyat Verstappen and Albon Verstappen and Gasly
Other possibilities may be:
- Hamilton and Kovalainnen
- Verstappen and Albon
- Alonso and Piquet
- Leclerc and Ericsson
Still much closer than thé pairings in thé vidéo.
Werhlein - haryanto
Russel - Kubica (Kubica got really lucky with that point)
Alonso - Kimi
Vettel - Kimi
Alonso Piquet is the only one I'd agree with in that lot
James Hunt and Jochen Mass.
Verstappen- Bernoldi, Liuzzi- Speed, The two Nakajimas in any instance and also Jim Clarks teammates in most of the cases

Alonso and all other team mates - Minardi

This season has one. Mick Schumacher Vs Mazepin, Mick is at least second faster consistently
I don't think JJ Lehto performed too badly against, qualifying just 0,5 seconds behind Schumacher in his first qualifying session in the B194 with a neck he had broken 4 months previous

I have some suggestions
Piquet and Rebaque
Alesi and Capelli
Frentzen and hill
Alonso and Piquet Jr
Senna and Nakajima
1. Hulkenberg and Gutierrez
2. Grosjean and Gutierrez
3. Senna and Nakaijama
4. Alonso and Massa
5. Alesi and Capelli.
6.Alonso and Van Doorne.
Verstappen & Gasly / Albon.
Jacques Villeneuve - Heinz-Harald Frentzen 1997 season, although Frentzen did come second he had 39 points less,
Doesnt count, he won Imola
@@matthiascerebri3315 end of season 39 points less
@@MrJohnTudor yeah, partially because of Williams focus on Villeneuve
Another mismatch was Kimi and Alonso in 2014
Over 100 points difference too!

Alonso x Massa
Fernando Alonso x all his teammates except for Lewis
and Esteban
