'Abhi Mujh Mein Kahin' is one of my most favourite song. Once I played this song infront of a stone hill. While the song was playing I forgot my existence. After the song was over I just looked towards the stone hill, and it was not there... It had molten down to the ground.👌🏻😇

I was fortunate to be at a private Birthday party in Singapore, where Sonu was the celebrity guest. “ Abhi mujh mein kahin” was my constant request to him which he sang in the end. I did get a chance to talk to him, when everyone was busy clicking pictures… and I told him “ this is your best song” and he immediately gave me a Hi-five. Now every time he sings this song, I hope that he remembers what I said.

I still remember, one Tuesday in year 1996, when I saw young Sonu, wearing blue-denim dungris, with his mom at Shiddivinayak temple in Mumbai. He was very new to bollywood then. Nobody recognized him, he quietly did his Darshan and left smiling.
I can very well empathise with Sonu’s situation. My mother was also terminally ill and admitted many times, travelled more in ambulance than taxi or bus. I intermittently used to go to office and then directly used to go to hospital as soon as i come out of office. She used to stop recognising us, used to stay wide awake during night outside ICU. She is no more but still I remember the pain she went through n not a single day I haven’t had a dream where she is not there. She used to be my lucky charm n always used to worried about me. Those who have mother please hug her, pamper her or else you will have regret that you haven’t done for her 🙏🏼
