Awesome drone footage! It's always cool to look at places you can't go (because of construction restrictions). I heard they yet have to put 2 corner pieces of the new footbridge, they are being done last as they are most likely the most difficult part of the bridge. Anyhow this was great! Can't wait for update #7!
@@theparks6541 Well, it does make sense that they complained for 26 lanes, the Pacific Highway is basically 2 lanes for 1 direction the entire way through, I think 2 is enough to bypass the entire city though, I'm glad they're even making a road like this.
The next update will be in February. I generally spread the updates out by 3 months or more, depending on how far the works have progressed. Thank you for your comment and interest in my project. it is very much appreciated. 😀
LOL!!! I am surprised no one has picked up the spelling mistake. I could say that it was put there to see if anyone was paying attention, but that's not true. Anyhow to much work to revamp and republish. Sorry about that.
I hate driving through Coffs Harbour , this should have happened years ago , ( would have been a lot cheaper then. In qld the Gympie bypass has now opened same thing it was absolute crap to drive through, just a breeze now
If they had done it 50 years ago when land was set aside it would have been much cheaper than this. Why does this country not build far lower-cost aerial highways like China? You dont need these enormous earthworks. It would have been a fraction of the cost of this. Who cares about its taxpayer's money? All this and we can only drive 100 km/hr and not 130 km/hr too. Our country is third-world in manufacturing and would be nowhere without out coal, gas and iron ore. Why build them when they want to shove us in 15-minute cities and not have cars, for the less than 0.01%. Coff has voted for 15-minute cities and ignored the populace.
Another community forgotten people will just drive past thousands of small businesses to close just like every other town on the east coast with a bypass
They said exactly the same thing about Berry when they built the bypass, but it’s busy (and still really difficult to get a parking spot) but without the thundering trucks that make it dangerous just to cross the road.
@PhilRable we only ever pulled of for the donuts once upon a time they were amazing I think berri a little bit different to Coffs Harbour it's almost like a tiny city Coffs. And W berri beautiful part of the world I was born in the sholhaven
Your coverage of this project is exceptional.
Thank you for keeping us updated, absolutely brilliant.

Thanks , good to see the progress ,,the sooner it is done the better.
twenty years late
Being house bound, I look forward to your excellent updates. Thank you for sharing.
stunning visuals! can't wait to use it
Exceptional video work mate. Awesome. Thanks for sharing. 😊👍
Appreciat ethese updates as it goes. thankyou for posting them
When people finally drive on this road they probably won't truly appreciate the work that went into it.
Correct - some boomer will just comment something like ‘THEY SHOULDA MADE IT 26 LANES WIDE. ANUFFA SHORT SIGHTED GUBBERMENT
I will !

Great footage and update
Looking good, people, keep up the good work. Thanks to WDP for the updates.
fantastic footage thanks
Nice work! Thank you.
Thank you for your great update!
Norther entrance, as compared to Souther entrance! Anyway, nice footage, and glad you went all the way to the Norther end of the roadworks. 😊
I was more concerned about the spelling mistake I did not notice, Enterance as opposed to Entrance. My bad.
Thanks that was awesome 🤩
Is update #7 coming out any time soon or is it due to the fact they aren't constructing until late January?

@@woolgoolgadronephotography No problem! I fully understand how it all works now. 👍
Wow, it’s taking so long. Still a couple years off?

I saw it but couldn’t warrant pointing it out when the rest of the footage is so awesome 😊
Funny how I couldn't see any machinery actually moving around or people about. Was there a stop-work meeting when this was filmed?
Given the various regulations in regard to the use of Drones by CASA, these missions are flown when there is no work taking place on the project.
Watercourses are going to be interesting! Great work
I feel like this project is exceptionally complicated and expensive considering it’s size, idk just a thought
All over the place, found it confusing watching this and trying to understand locations.
Crikey! They've been banging away at that thing for years and years and it's still just tractor scrapings!

Yeah I agree, I mean the government did start planning routes in 2001, we've come a long way.
