I was extremely excited to smell Wild Madagascar Vanilla, especially being a vanilla lover, but I didn’t like it at first. I still bought one. I decided to spray it because I thought it would layer well with Goddess and I guess my nose was broken that first day because I fell in love with it. The dry down is so good. It also layers so well with Vanilla 28. After realizing it’s amazing, I’ve bought so much of it. I think I bought five mists, three body creams, and three or four body washes. I need maybe one more of each. Lol

Someone on Reddit got the mist and cream the other day. She said that it was supposed to drop with the retired around the world scents but it was cancelled last minute. She only got it because it was already shipped to her store by the time the stop on the release trickled down so it’s definitely here just will be released for summer floor set 3!

Bodycology Whipped Vanilla is like Wild Madagascar Vanilla but stronger and longer lasting and you can pick it up for like $5.
@gregfulton8258 its literally the same notes but instead of African pear its Asian pear. Ive been using it as a replacement since my OG WMV bottle ran out. Seems fragrantica and most of the internet also agrees with me so...
They smell identical to me honestly. I agree with you 100%! Nothing like warm vanilla sugar.
@gregfulton8258 maybe you have a bad batch. I have over 100 fragrance mists, and can smell whipped vanilla by bodycology very well. I agree that it’s stronger than wild Madagascar vanilla too. If you’re familiar with fragrantica, 13 others agree that they smell similar. There are no disagrees with comparing these two. Also, everyone smells things differently. I used to think people were out of their minds with their comparisons, until I learned for myself how subjective fragrance truly is. Sometimes we are the odd ones out!
@@notension210 same scent notes even ..pear, jasmine, vanilla..but i think Whipped Vanilla also has an apple blossom note.
I agree about Wild Madagascar Vanilla! I worked at B&BW in 2014 when this and A Thousand Wishes were rolled out..and Thousand Wishes is still one of my favorites to this day. I always had WMV in the back of my mind, wondering when they’d bring it back. Everyone seemed to love it! The body butter was insane. So glad you can finally enjoy it!!

You should TOTALLY grab more of the Wild Madagascar Vanilla, because it's selling out very quickly, and resellers are snatching it up and marking it up. It truly is the best time to grab, like, 10, and in the end you can declutter if you don't use them, but at $3.95, you'll never get a better price on it ever. ❤
Honestly, Madagascar vanilla is the only spray that I got. And I absolutely love it. I did not need any body sprays. Nothing wowed me and I had enough of the ones I really really like already. I did get coconut milkshake, shower gel and body cream because I did run out of that and I really like it . I got some body creams for my husband too. I did hear Paris Amour was supposed to be in that set with the Tahiti and the Madagascar. It was called Around the World. There is a company called dirty soul soap,, and they have a Paris Amor dupe which is pretty spot on.

Well I just started shopping there again last fall so I don’t have most of the ones people want, like coconut whipped cream, or Firecracker pop - never smelled them even, until a week ago.
For not being a floral person I am LOVING Freesia especially the body cream. Ooh I’m going to layer Tahiti with Bombshell Escape, since it’s been compared to EB.
Wild Madagascar Vanilla is on my list to try and you’ve definitely convinced me after watching your review. And FYI they do have the body wash for that fragrance online 💛😊

some people had paris amour in their stores. i heard it got pushed back but some stores still got some inventory per the original schedule. i feel like it was in my store too on day 1 but im new to bbw so i didnt know it was a whole thing till it was too late.

I made a SAS sale video too. I love Cotton Candy Clouds but I felt like this years was pure water and alcohol with barely any scent. I have the 2022 version and it's so much better and stronger.💖
It maybe cause of the reformulation they been do to the products this years they trying to get away from a lot of chemicals in the scents, I would say check some of your older bottles versus the 2024 one you’ll see the difference
Madagascar vanilla does have a shower gel. coming out later will be the paris one the vanilla noir and fresh vanilla was good/great ones too

How does Wild Madagascar Vanilla compare to Wrapped in Vanilla or Fresh Vanilla Blossoms?
Just an FYI, BBW has Madagascar vanilla in a body wash, I saw it in my store today. Although it was nice I didn't get it, I guess I like plain vanilla scent like VS Bare vanilla.
Whipped vanilla from bodycology smell just like Madagascar vanilla very close and you can always get it at Walmart for 5 bucks. The bodycology lotion doesn't smell as good as bath and body.
maybe Paris Amour was only in certain states or specific stores in your city. it's happened before that someone has said they found a scent at b&bw in a new video and I head on over to one store, and I don't see it there.

This was my first time shopping an SAS and I was so excited going in with my wishlist of older scents I’ve heard you talk about, but I was underwhelmed by the sale, at least at my location. 😞 the only one from my list that I found was Confetti Daydream, and I picked up a couple other new scents, but I didn’t see anything else I was looking for. Is there a secret to finding the retired scents (do they add more throughout the sale? Do I need to try other stores?) or is the sale just not as good as it used to be?

Let’s talk about how I brought from the sale and a few thing I’m glad they brought back Tahiti Island Dream, Strawberry Soda smell just like the name and Confetti Daydream is giving repackaged Endless Weekend which I’m not mad at cause I love Endless Weekend; it should’ve gotten retired.

Paris Amour is suppose to be coming out in phase 3 of summer release. It’s a favorite of mine too.
I heard that Paris Amour is supposed to launch in a collection dedicated to the Olympics in Paris. Makes sense if the rumor is true, so we’ll see.

I just discovered WMV this year and stocked up myself. I usually love the same things you do with vanillas, gourmands, marshmallow, cotton candy scents with a little sexy something but my partner usually dislikes vanilla and leans towards aquatic and green scents and he said he loves WMV, that he doesn't smell vanilla but its a sexy sweet scent. Also, I never used the body cream for my body and they would expire because I have my after-shower favs too until I started putting them in little travel bottles and keeping them in my bag, by the bed, at my desk, etc and I will use them as hand cream or all over depending on my mood. I won't intentionally go grab a body cream at any time in the day but I will absolutely use it up if its accessible everywhere I sit to do something.
I kind of went crazy and got all these sprays: Meet me in Miami, Rose, Iced Lemon Pound Cake, Pink Pineapple ,Cherry, Dahlia, Coconut Milkshake, Berry Sherbet, and the Firecracker pop. Got the bodycreme of iced lemon poundcake which smelled sooo good, and the candle of Pink Pineapple Sunrise. The one I like least after getting it home is Dahlia. Smells very underwhelming despite all the good reviews I read of people raving about it. Oh yes I also got a Tropidelic shampoo and a fruity shampoo. I did go crazy, I have to say I got into BBW in a big way because of watching you and other you tubers:)
I only got one, which was pink pineapple sunrise! I tried the Dalia one and didn’t like it that much either.

Cherry Blossom surprised me - so good! Watermelon, plum, cherry blossom sheer freesia and soft sandalwood. Safe for a blind buy.
Wild Madagascar Vanilla smells like the Vanilla Poison perfume (in the dry down) to my nose.
So it’s a great close dupe or same vibes. Perfect to layer together and smell amazing. Trust.

I still have multiple of the original Wild Madagascar Vanilla because I went crazy buying when it was originally released and the vanilla has only gotten deeper and I love it! However, I discovered my go to summer layering combo by accident when I purchased Fresh Amalfi Lemon & Calypso Clementine at SAS, the two of them layered together is absolutely heaven and instant happiness!
I might have to try this before I didn’t like either of them enough alone to buy. The combo might win it.

Tahiti Island Dream initially came out in 2015 (I believe). I had tons of it at one point and recently had to throw away my last body cream because it was bad. I am ecstatic that they brought it back! Everyone says it’s light, but layered with the cream, I could smell it on me all day. It’s the kind of scent that you need to put on your skin and let dry down to fully appreciate. So many are passing because of the initial spray in store, but I just say more for me. 🤷🏻♀️
Here I thought it was released in 2013 but I’m just glad they brought it back
I layer Tahiti Island Dream with Libre EDT. Compliment galore & insane longevity! For some reason, they work very well together!
I also layer Sweetheart Cherry with YSL Black Opium Over Red to really intensify the cherry! 🍒

@@jennp023pr ouuu! I don’t have Kay Ali Vanilla 28 however I do have Brown Sugar Babe’s body oil in Crème de le crème which is inspired by Vanilla 28.
Also, I only have whipped coconut milkshake in the body wash since I was on the fence getting it in the mist and/or lotion.

My latest combination with WMV from Bath & body works is:
Brown Sugar Babe- Crème de la crème body oil
Then WMV body crème from Bath and body works.
Last, spray with Sol de Janiero #59 omg I got a few compliments at the gym when I wore it 😊

Madagascar vanilla smelled to me like a purfume that I had already smelled before I went straight to my purfumes and yessss it smells like ja doré white bottle I searched the notes in fragrantica and they have the exact notes but of course Madagascar vanilla have 3 more notes that ja dore doesn't have but other then that they smell the same to me 🤷

That description about Madagascar vanilla is so accurate. I saw it & instantly thought it was gonna be gourmand, but it's not and is instead sexy, like you mentioned. Because of the pear & jasmine, it turns into a fragrance mix with complexity and can be perceived more as a "perfume" as opposed to just a b&bw body mist. There are few B&BW scents that don't smell basic and generic and this is one them.
