- Hello, this is SHU AND TREE.
We went over to the rescue site with Korean Animal Welfare Association
where a companion dog was left unattended
as his guardians were elderly and struck down from a brain lesion.
Being not able to move at all, all his guardian could do was barely feed him
Since the guardian grew worried that conditions might get worse
he asked the rescue team to save Bami so that he can live a better life.
It was Seryu Welfare Center that called for help
and made contact with Korean Animal Welfare Association
so that we can rescue Bami and give him a haircut.
We truly appreciate all the help that was given during this process.

Think the dog was loved and cared for except that the grooming was difficult for the owner.
I would be so sad if I had to give up my dog.
Think it is just as hard on seniors and disabled when circumstances force them to give up a beloved furry friend, especially when sometimes a pet is all you have left.
I would be much happier if the senior received help in grooming his beloved companion instead of being forced by circumstances to relinquish him.
That feels so cruel.

말 없이 바라만 보다가 마지막에 '미안해'라고 남기는 모습이 너무 애잔하네요. 밤이도 보호자분들도 이렇게 헤어지고 싶은 건 아니셨을 텐데, 더 잘해주고 좋은 모습으로 오래오래 함께 하고 싶으셨을 텐데... 병마가 야속할 따름입니다 ㅠㅠ 밤이에게도 전 보호자님들에게도 좋은 일이 있으시길 바랍니다.

보호자 분도 아프고 싶어서 아픈 게 아닌데...마지막 인사가 미안해인 것이 너무 가슴 아프네요ㅠㅠ 밤이도 보호자분도 그리고 구조활동에 연관된 모든 분들이 행복하시면 좋겠습니다.
그래도 보호자되는 분이 좋은 주인 찾아달라고 노력하신듯해요 사지 멀쩡한 사람들도 쉽게 동물을 유기하는데.. 보호자분도 건강하시고 아가도 건강해져서 좋은 주인 만나길 바랍니다.
Such a heartbreaking decision for his guardians to make, I'm sure. But I bet they knew it's what was best for him in the long run. You could hear the sadness in their voice 🥺😢
영상보는내내 눈물이 멈추질 않네요.... 2편을 먼저보고와서 길에서 구조된줄 알았는데 댓글보고 원보호자님이 있었다는걸 알고 1편을 보게됐어요 ㅠ 뇌병변장애 많이 힘듭니다.... 그래도 밤이 밥도 잘챙겨주셔서 몸도 건강했는데.. 원보호자님 비방하는 댓글들 너무 마음아프네요..ㅠ ㅠ 원보호자님 밤이 보내고 많이 힘드셨을것 같아요.. 그래도 본인보다 밤이 먼저 생각하고 좋은주인 만나라고 보내주신 결심해주신거 너무 대단하고 감사합니다....ㅠ 다들 너무 고생많으셨습니다♡
밤이가 버려진게 아니라 보호자분들께서 밤이가 좋은 환경으로 가길 바라는 마음으로 보내줬다는 사실을 알고 있으면 좋겠네요… ㅠㅠ
보호자분들이 말씀하시는걸 보면 건강이 안 좋으셔서 밤이의 청결에 신경을 못 써줬을 뿐 사랑으로 키우셨다는게 느껴졌습니다..ㅠ
밤이가 더 좋은 환경에서 살았으면 싶은 마음에 구조를 요청한 그 마음이 얼마나 슬펐을까요..
보호자분들이랑 밤이가 앞으로는 떨어져서 지내겠지만 자주 만날 수 있으면 좋겠습니다ㅠ
어떻게 저지경이 될때까지 방치할수 있나 싶었는데 견주분이 거동이 불편하신거군요 견주분도 건강하시길 기도하겠습니다 발톱도 길고 털도 길고 실내견은 참 관리가 중요한거 같습니다

내가 자식같이 키워온 애완견이 날 떠나는게 곧 구조라니 아픈것도 힘들고 서러운데 애완견을 보낸다는 선택이 얼마나 무겁고 시린지 정말 많이 사랑하고 위하기 때문에 할 수 있는 일같다

내가 해줄 수 없을때 최대한으로 해줄 수 있는 선택이 이별인데 그 이별이 말로만 쉽지 정말 어려운데 그래도 사랑하기에 아픈 마음 이겨내고 그 아이의 행복을 바란다니 진정한 사랑이라고 생각합니다 ㅠㅠㅠ 😢

할머니랑. 아저씨. 입성과. 머리 보면. 강아지까지 챙길 정신은 더더욱 없어보여요. 두분 다 돌봄을 받아야 할 ㅂ분들이지 반려견을 돌봐줄 수 있을 상태는 아니지 싶네요. 아가가. 사람 손길 거부않는거보고 애교도 많은걸보니 그전 아빠가 참 예뻐하긴 한거 같은데 아빠가 나이든 노모랑 강아지 돌보며 지내시다 건강이 갑자기 안좋아지셔서 도움요청이 늦어지신거 같네요.
이제라도 보호자분들도 많은 도움 받으셨으면 좋겠어요

The videos of the dogs running after the cars of their owners who abandoned them broke my heart! 😞
회사에서 취약계층 집수리 사업을해서 사전조사에 갔는데 제대로 걷지 못하는 할머니 혼자 사시는 집에 여러마리의 개들이 폐가같은데서 방치되어있더라구요. 사료 포대가 있긴했지만 밥은 눌러붙은 생선이고 물은 빗물이었어요. 동물보호협회에 문의해도 해줄수 있는게 없다하고 방송국에서 연락와서 주소만 남겨준게 작년이네요. 할머니가 집수리를 거부하셔서 그 뒤로 못가봐서 한번씩 떠올랐는데 이 영상보니 거동이 불편했던 할머니와 방치된 개들이 계속 생각나네요.

Poor Bami. I have seen a few channels that help matted dogs, but he was the most matted I’ve ever seen a dog. He’s going to feel so much better after the haircut, and seems like he has a really good personality.
i really teared up watching this… something about bami’s previous owner clearly still loving him so much, but also knowing that he wasn’t in a position to take proper care of him, so he knowingly chose to say goodbye in order to give bami a better life… the tenderness and care that the people at shu and tree show bami after he for so long wasnt receiving the proper care… it’s so sad but so heartwarming. i love dogs and i love seeing people be so kind to them

You are right. The owners last words to Bami are heartbreaking. He knows it’s for Bami’s health. He loves him too much to keep him that way 😢. You will find him a perfect home.
Poor Bami! I really hope he gets a nice new family, especially after having to lose his first like that (his poor previous owner did the right thing, even though it probably hurt to do so). Such a cute and loving dog.
This actually almost made me cry.
The family clearly loved him so much but just could not take care of him.

It's painful for them to be separated from the animals.

보호자가 아픈건 안타까운 일이지만 저렇게 방치하는거 또한 학대입니다. 저 작은몸에 뭉친 털이 얼마나 무겁고 , 길어서 휘어진 발톱때문에 힌빌한발 걸을때마다 얼마나 아팠을까요. 얼마나 간지럽겠어요 몸이. 말도 못해고 그저 주인이 털을 잘라주기를 발톱을 깎아주기를 목욕을 시켜주기를 기다렸겠죠.
사람이던 동물이던 한 생명을 키운다는 것은 큰 책임이 따르지요. 시간 노력 관심 돈 모두 빠짐없이 매일 필요해요.
솔직히 강아지 키우는 사람으로서 저 지경까지 아이가 되도록 방치한다는게 전혀 이해가 되지 않습니다.
주변에 미용이나 목욕 한번 보내달라고 부탁이라도 해보시지 저건 아니라고 봅니다.
아이가 많이 오랜기간 고통스러워했을걸 보니 마음이 아프네요. 좋은 가족이 얼른 나타났으면 좋겠어요.

It's a shame there wasn't some way to take the dog for regular grooming to aid his owner so he could stay in his home. Surely the family will be lonely to part with such a nice dog and he with them.
