What does the drishyam book reveal prove though? Something that has been plublished in a book cannot happen in real life? How? People watch films or crime shows and imitate the same.The same can be done by reading book. I thought that was the weak point of the movie.

When the director narrates that story, it says two teenage boys fight with each other and one of them gets killed accidently. Only the police station part has happened. Plus even if exact same thing happened, it wouldn't still be impossoble. For example:dhoom style bank robbery,yevadu movie style murder.

I'm a north indian hindi speaking guy.. I watched this movie on amazon prime with subtitles.. Though i have seen the hindi remake..but the essence was missing.. Background in Malayalam version is top notch. And mohanlal sir eyes expression.. what can i say about that.

Though i have seen the hindi remake..but the essence was missing..
Background in Malayalam version is top notch.
