It's a bit after 4am, couldn't sleep & was listening to this double drop D lesson. Listened several times. Terrific! BUT, for you listeners out there, he had a link to how to do that stretch A that you just NEED to see! Clicked on it & learned something that never even occurred to me! So simple. Ingenious. The principle would work with any stretch-to-the-pain-point chord. Really smart! Do yourself a BIG favor & look at it! This guy is a great teacher. Lessons inside lessons. Thank you John Hatcher!
Perfect -- just strung up and tuned my Bass-IV with 3 standard Bass-VI strings and 3 heavish unwound guitar strings, and went looking for some likely tunes. Double drop-D may be the magic place for this thing.
I am trying to learn I'm One By the Who a lesson would be great but this is awesome, I will learn this well and could play anytime. I am a beginner finger picker
Hey John I'd like to get you as a teacher for fingerstyle blues stuff - how can I be assured of that w/o first committing to a full sign up please? Thank you...

Hey
I like your format. First you play the riff so I can decide for myself weather it's what I'm looking for..... Keep on
Shocking riff and lesson John. Cheers!! for the work.

This is a really great lesson, but it would be nice if you either told us the key in the beginning or put it in your description

Did you have to take 3 mins to explain that first bit
