I am building a very similar set up. I have the same springs and Assassin traction bars. I also have competition engineering shock relocation mount C2047 and C2046. I was wondering what shocks you were using and how all that was working?
Thanks! I'm putting a 9" in my 68 and was debating on these vs the Caltracs. Good info here...thanks for posting. I'm planning to install my springs and read diff housing all as a single unit. Any reason you can think of why I couldn't do the drilling and assembly before putting the springs/rear back into the car?
I'm not seeing any reason but maybe preload and not having the weight of the car my pose an issue. Worst case scenario holes drilled in the wrong spot but there is alot of adjustment to make up for it in the bars

QA1 dual adjustable. But this build hasn't been completed yet so not driven it yet but worked well on my buddy's car
thanks for this video, awesome engineering!
I'm far from awesome or an engineer but thank you. We just take our time and lots trial and error.

On caltracs lower hits softer
Interesting. I may be wrong.
