For shawm see also Memling's "Music Making Angels", 1480s, Koninklijk Museum voor Schone Kunsten Antwerp(en). Saw a programme on TV where they discovered the remains of a shawm in a sunken ship, and worked out from that how they worked and how to make them. Love your video!
Top classical pianist near us has been keeping in practice in his garage during lockdown. The neighbours, ungrateful for this top-level free concert, are up in arms. Keeps his wife happy though...
