Hi, Yes, you can change to CS after the first year. Because all the branches of engineering have the same basics concept for the first one year and subjects & specialization only start after 2nd year. But like you, a lot of students from other branches would be trying to switch to CS branch and such seats will be very limited (Usually 2 - 4 seats) and getting a seat would be very competitive and you should be getting top score (Either CGPA or Percentage) in your branch and then only you can get your desired branch! Threshold CGPA & percentage to qualify to change of branch would be decided by a particular engineering college. Regards, Team Arivu
Dear Chethan, Yes, you can opt for EC in Ambedkar Engineering College and it is good. We did go through the feedback given and below are our findings: - College infrastructure is good - Faculty members are good & supportive- Labs are well equipped - Library facility is adequate & well maintained- College fee - If you getting admission through KCET then very economical (Cut off ranking GM for ECE branch is around 25K) - Placements - Average (60% - 70%) students are getting placed in ECE branch Please go through the review from the link below as it would help you to make your decision. collegedunia.com/college/13369-dr-ambedkar-institute-of-technology-ait-bangalore www.shiksha.com/college/dr-ambedkar-institute-of-technology-ait-bangalore-mallathalli-19927/reviews All the best, Regards, Team Arivu

Sir if i took the electric in best college ..can i change the branch from electric to cs..?
Hi,
Yes, you can change to CS after the first year.

Dear Chethan,
Yes, you can opt for EC in Ambedkar Engineering College and it is good.
We did go through the feedback given and below are our findings:
- College infrastructure is good
- Faculty members are good & supportive- Labs are well equipped
- Library facility is adequate & well maintained-
College fee - If you getting admission through KCET then very economical (Cut off ranking GM for ECE branch is around 25K)
- Placements - Average (60% - 70%) students are getting placed in ECE branch

@@arivuknowledge 👌Thank you very much sir 🙏
Bro did u joined that college?
Sir defence hege join aagbahudu ? After completing diploma in electronics and communication engg
Iti after diploma eee imp place
ECE though eruthhaaa😭
Dear Shiva,
People do say ECE is usually tough but this can happen to people who would have taken Computer Science students who were not good at coding!
So, my suggestion is go with an open mind of acquiring knowledge and with confidence as you have decided to pursue a particular course! Moreover, nowadays you have a lot of sources available both online and offline for the subjects which you find tough while studying!
All the best,
