First time I ever saw this show was on tv when the episode premiered… the ep where Jess models because Cici had a hangover. I was just channel flipping with my mom when we come across this funny Ford commercial, at THAT scene lol. I distinctly remember saying “THAT WASNT A COMMERCIAL?!” And I fell in love with the show.
True. Would like to thank Zooey for that since she’s one of the producers, who also picks (one of) and goes to all the screen test (like the audition) with all the main cast. Basically she’s the boss of Max, Jake, Lamorne, Hannah etc. haha. (Jake also said that on the Welcome To Our Show podcast)
7 years late, but SAAAME. im literally obsessed w this show and its hard for me NOT to watch every new girl related video that keep popping up on my recommendation
It's funny I was watching the previous videos and thinking that Jess must be at least slightly based on Liz because she's got that "adorkable" way about her. And even her whole looks is like an everyday version of Jess's style

I love the show, but I gotta say, after watching these Paley Center interviews, the writers and actors seem REALLY uncomfortable with and disconnected from each other. Most show interviews, everyone seems pretty in sync....this is not one of them. Lol.
They're akward people in an awkward show written by awkward people for an awkward audience. Of course they're out of sync, writers aren't very charismatic and the actors are too nice to talk over each other. Plus the questions are typically for one person to answer at a time but whatever I guess
I am from Latvia and i love New girl. But i don't know what "meh" is and we have TV, computers and all the other things :D you are making us look like an old russian village :D
What is Cece's problem (if she was being facetious, I couldn't tell)? I don't see how what Winston said could possibly be construed as "stereotypical". I mean, do women NOT have periods once a month?
Well you can have an irregular period. Skip a month or more than a month. Have your period in the middle of the month and then the beginning of the month. Plus, periods shift through the month er something..
It is a stereotype. I never had any PMS symptoms, just retaining a few pounds of water weight. I would just notice about a three pound increase from my normal weight...then after my period, it would be back to normal weight. I think the whole thing is blown out of proportion. And my sister is the same, no noticeable "symptoms". After all, what is more normal and natural than the regular monthly cycle. Honestly, I thank my mother for making " becoming a woman" seem so positive. You know how placebos work because you THINK they will work? If you EXPECT stressful symptoms, you probably will get them.
