I love this, purchased my pattern. Now I can’t wait to get started. Thank you for all your mosaic patterns and easy tutorials that you explain which I love. Thank you for all that you do!♥️😊
Hi Courtney. Your tutorials are always so good. This technique is on my to learn list. So now I have someplace to come when I get to doing mosaic. Thanks so much and love love love your channel. ❤💖🥰
I just want to say thank you very much I’ve been watching a few ladies but you are the best I will follow your other patterns as soon as I can understand these patterns
This was my first go at mosaic crochet, I just did a sample the same as your size in a beautiful mint greenish color and black....it came out beautiful! I'm practicing with some sample sizes because I'm going to be trying an afghan with a bunch of rainbow colors Im waiting on from my first Hobbii order! I am so excited for it! Thank you for these CALs...they really make learning so much easier! 😊👍
sorry to be offtopic but does any of you know of a tool to log back into an instagram account? I was dumb lost my account password. I love any assistance you can give me
I just finished the pattern (chained 35 for 4 full motifs, centered) in linen and wine for a lined, zippered bag. I’ve been crocheting for 40+ years but this is my first try at mosaic crochet. Thank you for the detailed and patient tutorial, it has been much appreciated ❤️
Thank you for making an incredible difficult stitch look soo easy!! It was very easy to follow & your voice is so encouraging. I can't wait to start making something. lol :-)
Hi again made a comment on another pattern you did. This is the type I wanted to see. Ok time to watch. I love your videos and now is a good time with everyone doing mosaic. Your teaching is thee best. Thank you.
Thank you Cindy!!! One of my other youtube friends told me about others coming out with mosaics too. I know the big timers plan their videos far out in advance just like I do but I love that within weeks of me starting this CAL they started releasing videos too for their crochet alongs!! Its brought a ton of interest to this technique! Thank you for your sweet compliments! I will be releasing more mosaics over time that are worked in different multiples since I had to keep all of these to the same multiple for the CAL. Thank you so much for watching and commenting!!!
I have been following these awesome mosaic videos for the last 2 weeks! I am almst finished with the body of a blanket I am making....Thank you so much for sharing this with us (me). Keep them coming...I believe I am addicted....
Oh yayayaya!!! That makes me so happy!! I wish I could see it!!!! I am so glad you found these and are enjoying them!! Thank you so much for letting me know!! 💜💜💜
Thank you!!! Once you catch the Mosaic bug, it's a hard one to shake 😁😁🤣🤣 definitely look around at other designers like Sixel Designs or Tinna. Both have some great tutorials that i think you'll love. I think the right design that really grabs you can be just the thing to put you in the "I have to try this!!" mindset. 💙💙 I have an updated version of this tutorial where I talk WAY less, so I highly recommend that one IF you decide yo give a swatch a try. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and for commenting, I REALLY appreciate it more than you know.
@@FiberFoxStudios thanks for sharing. I'll definitely check out a few other designers and possibly try a small project before jumping in too deep with a big project...lol
It turned out very beautiful I’m only gonna do one row I’m not gonna do a repeat of it I am on my 13th row right now but I’ll be done shortly and I another pattern of yours and I’ll let you know which one it is I’ll come in on it I just been crocheting away I hope you have a awesome day Courtney and thank you very much for all the wonderful patterns that you put out there for all of us I love them ❤️💕🌺🌸🌷🌹🤗
Thank you for making your tutorials easy to follow! I recently discovered Mosiac crochet and love it! I am left handed and work from left to right. You work at a great pace too. Not to fast, not to slow. Thank You
Hi Sylvia!! In the tutorial for Pattern #2 I show how you start working onto existing work and I think that will help you get a visual of what you need to do to use them all together. You just will not need the starting chain and foundation row on the patterns once you get started. For almost all, if not all, of these patterns you would be starting at row 3 (mosaic starting row) on any of the videos. You can see the video for pattern 2 here ruclips.net/video/tSbbPztPO6o/видео.html On the playlist I have a Mosaic CAL in review video that also gives some tips on using the patterns for larger projects. You can check that one out here: ruclips.net/video/sj1o3gs8164/видео.html All of the patterns for the CAL are multiples of 10 plus 6 at the end so depending on how big you are wanting your blanket you will be starting with a chain of 206 possibly. Maybe larger. In each video from 3 on I show how you do the chain and foundation rows but those only takeva few minutes and then you will be at the mosaic start if you are wanting to pattern after pattern with no separation ( you'll see what I mean in the review video I linked above) hope this answers your questions and helps you. If you have any other questions just let me know! Thank you for watching!!
The multiples of 10 plus 6 does not always work if the pattern width is different from the sample. I chained 166 and had 165 sc. When I got to row 3, I had 2 sc extra.
I love your patterns and am trying to learn them! Cutting the yarn after each row is very different for me. Sorry for such a simple question, but do you just use a darning needle to sew each tail back into the work?
Don't apologize for questions! You can sew them in, I do a knotted bind off on each tale when I'm going to sew them in and then I clip excess. Or you can bind them off and hide all the tails. I have videos on my mosaic finishing playlist going over the 2 methods that you might find helpful. Knotted bind off: ruclips.net/video/qKVNtF4hBpw/видео.html And here is the link to the complete playkist and you will see the other videos on a double border to hide the tails: ruclips.net/p/PLU_G451k47sHKk03bYvCWpRbkSbDz2oSe
Yes you can but you need to use the updated tutorial. It's explained in that tutorial. Here is the updated tutorial ruclips.net/video/RbbW8rneOVM/видео.html Hope this helps and thank you!!
Hi Brenda, they are charts only, its like a graph with a stitch key but no written instructions. I've got some videos about reading the charts where I show what they looks like and how you work them. Here is one of them if you are curious to what they look like: ruclips.net/video/fxEOEqiheVM/видео.html
I've been watching the different mosaic patterns, I'll like to work all of them in one baby blanket. What multiples should I ch to start? What is the height of each individual pattern? So I know if I should repeat the patterns one more time to get a decent size. Thanks.
The multiple is in all the videos and its the same for every pattern so you can use them all! Multiple of 10 plus 6 at the end. I didn't measure height but the patterns that were only 3 to 4 inches completed are the ones I did the additional video showing you how to continue them on up for extra rows in case someone wanted height of their different mosaics to be similar 😁 any of them can be worked multiple times before moving on but those that were tricky to move up for another repeat are the ones that I did the continued video. Baby blankets are usually starting chain 120 chains plus 6 at the end when I make them in size 4 medium weight yarn. Hope that helps! 💗
I forgot to ask, is this the last pattern of the CAL? I'm doing my calculations now, so I want to be able to put that in consideration. And is there going to be a border pattern?
@@ijehlydia-gabrielle1202 there is one more pattern I'm working on for the CAL. It should be out next week. I've got the border pattern up on my channel already and I will add it over to the playlist as well. Sorry for the delay in reply, we've been doing yard work for my mom today and I just got a chance to sit down!
