Riley and Lucas- What was "right" and more "perfect." It was what everyone thought would make the happy ending. When Maya started to like Lucas, then Riley gave him up for her, but Maya felt too guilty for letting that happen, so she pretended that the chemistry had disappeared, and Riley got him back. That's why I ship neither of them, 'cause in the end the story was about the girls, not the romance.
I think they both cared more for one another vs the boy on GMW

Lucas won't date Maya. They are just friends, and neither of them want to hurt Riley. Riley will always like Lucas, and friendship means more to Riley and Maya than falling for the same guy. The only reason Maya had a thing for Lucas, was because she was pretending to be like Riley, to see what kind of guy Lucas is for her best friend. I'm pretty sure Rucas is endgame, and maybe Maya should be with Zay or whatever his name is, or Josh, and not Lucas.

ok so i am going to rant now on bow much i love the show
I really liked to see the love triangle between Lucas, Riley and maya, though i always shipped Lucaya because how can you not. I loved the friendship that Maya and Riley had, even the friendship the whole group had but theirs was most precious, they could fight the world for each other and that is something that i really want to experience. Each episode brought a new lesson and i was a bit sad when Lucas and Maya didn't end up together but it was still beautiful. I really want to see the show from Maya's point of view.
Some of the comments i read on youtube that i would like to comment were
how maya over reacted to the whole face holding thing, well the face holding thing was not a big deal but the beag deal was the fact that it showed that Lucas had feelings for Maya which was the wrong thing nd Riley needed to know that.
The fact that a big deal was made out of Riley loosing a bear was not the fact that a bear was lost i was a lesson to be able to let go of the things after a particular time or when the time is right
The relationship between farkle and Smackle was very unique since they both had autism of a way and didn't eally understand affection and in the last season it is affection that is taught to smackle and Farkle learned to express himself in a less scientific manner so that his friends could understand him better.

It's about Lucas/Peyton this is a really good AU tho it doesn't apply to characters because Lucas loved Peyton and thought she rejected him that's why he went to Brooke (rebound) while Maya had feels after Lucas/Riley were together on the show.
