+Vangelis Polydorou You delivered a beautiful rendition with personality. I really enjoyed the arrangements and the silk and smoothness of your interpretation. As written previously it seems like Trevor Horn ( "Frankie Goes to Hollywood" 's producer, look for "The Power of Love" extended version) paid a visit to this fantastic Culture Club song. I'm a massive Boy George's voice admirer since his beginnings (I was 10 :) ) and have never been impressed by any of his cover since his versions are pristine but for the first time ever someone fulfilled the job and this someone is you.

He is just so awesome. When I was a teenager I had an album with his pics. I am so happy to see him back and recovered... He has an amazing voice and if he can teach one or two things to his team about artistry and comebacks is him.

[Non BG version] I thought Vangelis did a great job. His delivery was delicate and charming, although at times it did lack projection. That might be partly the singer's relative inexperience, but also something to do with the way the vocal channel has been treated. Vangelis clearly has an impressive talent that should develop if he makes it through his battle. We will need to see if he is treated fairly at that stage, because we don't yet know if he has the versatility to conquer other material the way he did this song. I really liked this, and I'm looking forward to more.
What is "Non BG version?' I agree with your review, Peri, he's really one of this season's diamonds who still needs to be polished to become perfect! And I have incredible news for you, Mia Sylvester will return on this next episode!!! :D

It was brave for Vangelis (Greek Prince) to sing one of BG's Grammy-winning songs (the good old days). I absolutely loved his cover. The expression on his face when BG turned 1st was so photogenic and priceless. Like some of the judges, I, too, felt the sudden rush of *the chills* when he hit his falsetto-those two other chairs just came spinning around. I assume he chose The Boy.

This totally blew me away, can't understand why Will didn't turn for this guy... It's everything you want in a voice: tenderness, strength, sincerity and pitch-perfect control. With the right choice of songs this Vangelis could well end up winning this season...!!
+Frenk Summers It was quite obvious...this was the best performance at the voice so far - what makes it even more valuable is that Vangelis does not seem to have experience with gigs etc.. compared to Kevin Simm. I think Will generally does not like to compete with the 3 others, maybe he doesn't like to loose out...

+Kim Acronym Yeah, there seems to be some strange unspoken rule that if it is one coaches "style" the others shouldn't go for it.. which is the polar opposite from the US coaches who are almost too busy duking it out. I'm not sure how well either method serves them...

I love boy George so much as a judge, he surprised me, now I admire him more for being a great judge, he's defiantly the best among all and very honest and has great experience and he knows how to pick a good voice when the contestant starts to sing, love you George so much

Remember the early 1980s and nostalgia says those days were good. True. But listening to Vangelis this week is reassuring that talent is still as vibrant today as it was 30 years ago. Can't stop watching the exquisite version sung by Mr Polydorou. Well done. Half Scottish too. That'll do nicely. It's been a long time since I have been impressed by a cover.
The boy reprised this song in front of the Boy, one of the most gifted singer ever.
He delivered grace and delicacy, he seemed giving a touch of Trevor Horn's magic to this epic version, like crossover between Culture Club and Frankie Goes To Hollywood.

Just had to watch the video another 7 times. What is so remarkable, is that this is the most difficult task - singing a song in front of the composer, a song that was a global no.1 hit in a slightly different version, and then get this emotional REACTION from Boy George - first he is surprised, then likes "how can I be with you", then he is touched by "precious kisses....", then he has to take a deep breath "if it is love you want from me...", finally a standing ovation. Vangelis has "killed" this song...it was the first time I heard it and felt its meaning. Simply outstanding - and in my view a turning point in the show, where we see many artists trying very hard without getting to the heart, and here comes someone fairly inexperienced who effortlessly goes straight to our hearts - brilliant.
I could listen to this all day.

Have not watched TV for three years now and this was on when i was round at my mates, it made me cry. WOW! This guy is the winner he has a beautiful voice. A very courageous young man to singing that in front of George. Good luck, peace love and light.

No one can do it better than George but I honestly thought Vangelis did the song justice, awesome tone to his voice and loads of emotions in that performance. I would not have had guts to do a Boy George song in front of Boy George, so well done Vangelis! Good luck, although #TeamGeorge has some tough competition on it, lots of awesome talent there!

I really loved this. This version brought out all of the emotion of the lyrical meaning. There was just so much texture. So hard to do a CC song justice since George is one of the best modern singers period.
