Fantastic work. I was stumped on what to do with the intake photos that I received until I watched this. Thanks for taking the time to shoot and edit this!
this video came out to be very useful for me. I am doing my research in hand and foot measurements for height estimation and i am trying to use this software to study the digital images also but m not able to find any research papers related to this. Can you please help me if you have any knowledge regarding this?
You can measure anything you like, as long as the image is taken from a good angle (for a building, you'd want as close to 90-degree angles as possible). Then you'd have to have some kind of distance reference. So for example, you could measure the width of a window and use that to calibrate the image. Then you could measure walls, roof, etc.
Hi, margareth margoth. The work I do producing 3D printed prosthetic devices is through a volunteer community called e-NABLE (enablingthefuture.org). We have over 1500 volunteers around the world, ready to help you get a 3D printed device that would work for your son, at no charge to you. To get the process started, just fill out our information gathering form here: goo.gl/lW1uX6 Someone from the e-NABLE Matching Team will then help to find an appropriate e-NABLE volunteer (maybe even in your local area) to assist.
Hi margareth margoth , I sent a message to Filipe about this, but I thought it would be good to ask you too. Do you have a picture of your son's hand? Filipe mentioned that the thumb was lost.
Alan Hong My son lost his hand and has only the thumb, Philip doing the prosthesis him, but I am part of an association that takes care of developing technology for amputees (Adsta) and I'm an amputee who has just lost every hand thumb, for that I was interested in your project, you have the entire normal hand, just missing the thumb, we need the tutorial Adsta can print, thanks waiting contato..abraço

The Handomatic web app currently only supports the Raptor Hand 1.0 (original design) and the Cyborg Beast. You'll need to download the Raptor Reloaded STL files from Thingiverse and scale them as needed. There are instructions available along with the files on Thingiverse. www.thingiverse.com/thing:596966

Search for Photogrammetry, Homography, Direct Linear Transform, etc.
Is it only for parts of body.? Or I can measure height of any images like wall of the building?

@@3duniverseOrgWelcomesYou Thank you 💌
Apparently the software it´s no longer available online, can you share the software with a link if it's freeware? In advance thanks!

This is for 2-d measurement. How to get to the depth of the object?
webapp is no longer available, can you help me with that?
There's updated guidance for determining device size from photos here: enablingthefuture.org/resources-2/e-nable-device-sizing/
Also, did you look here? It looks like the download is still available: physlets.org/tracker/
My son suffered amputation, but he has his thumb, how do? help me? please
