Good to see you back! I would be so interested in a little update on how all your kids are going with slovene and english. My kids are also bilingual, one parent one language, italian and english. Do they speak english to you or reply to your english with slovene? How has attendong school impacted their language? Which is their stronger language now? ❤
I’m definitely due for a video like that. We’re bilingual. Mostly speak English at home and the rest of our lives are in Slovene. The kids are more fluent in Slovene than English, but are perfectly comfortable nonetheless.
Mariah, i want to recommed you a book if maybe you would like to read, i dunno im just suggesting, its called: "Ogenj, rit in kače niso za igrače", i think there are two or three vol. Believe me you WONT be disappointed!👍
Well you seem like a great, creative, hard working person, so some of us that share those things will enjoy anything you put out! Actually let me be completely honest, it helps that the video is shorter and edited 🤣(sorry, i know you must have no time and i respect your persistence to stay on youtube, i never managed to do it cause my ideas were way too ambitious). So no worries we'll always keep coming back for more it seems hahaaha. Anyways, stay strong and cheers from Macedonia. Btw i never managed to do sourdough bread justice, but I am glad you did. Some day i might try again. It is always great fun learning new things, especially for a creative person. Hope the weather is still nice in Slovenia. Have a nice day
Obviously, you weren't affected directly by the flooding. My family and friends in Kamnik were okay, but a lot of their neighbors had problems. My brother and I were there in June, I met Noah Charney, also American Xpat who lives in Kamnik and writes books about Slovenia, great guy. An update about your family and Luka is always appreciated. Maybe next time I get to Slovenia, we can finally meet.
Homemade bread is the best. Thanks for sharing.
It really is!

Thanks for coming back! And you should definitely give sourdough bread a try again. It really helps if you get starter from someone else or a bakery.
Welcome back, you were missed.
