Valuable points were made! My friends don't do enough match making for me. I have very few close friends, so maybe that's the reason. My longest friend my age is also single, but I'm pretty sure he prefers it that way!
I was a divorced father of 3 girls and in charge of the AYSO referees at the local park. I am also an attorney. I always thought I would meet my last love personally- either at work or at the park ( and not on a dating app.) I knew most of the 2000 families in our park and hoped that some of the moms would help find me a mate- but I was never introduced and I thought I was an eligible person. It opened my eyes that women are necessarily supportive of each other and they dont play match makers like they did when I was a young man. Not blaming anyone- just an observation.
without your request, I would think they would believe that was meddlesome. Did you ask them to please fix you up with anyone they thought might be a great match for you?
@@jimosborne2 nope - just asking. men expect favors from women but most often they don't return those to women. do you also care about the single women in your life. do you set them up?
Most of my friends were good friends with my deceased GF. while I know they talk me up at church and know I would like to be married even though am 65. Nothing has come to fruition. I know there is someone out there for me. Perhaps my friends will steer that elusive woman my way yet.
Damn… I have experienced ALL of this and it has contributed to major issues in my dating life. Don’t be me.
well now you know!
I think you are absolutely right on all the points you make.
Thanks, Virgil!
Perfectly said. ❤
Thank you!
Thanks for this perspective!
you are welcome and thank you for leaving a comment to let me know you enjoyed it !
It's so true & I'm guilty of doing it to one of my dearest friends 😅
well, this was your wake up call! Lol

i assume you also have male friends. did you match any of them up with single women when you were married?
@@CoffeewithCarey fair point. I let some of them know I was looking.
@@TheSunshinefee you’re just looking for an argument aren’t you?
