I have a great idea if u want the box to close up. I'll try to explain the best I can. Before u stick the box together, make the front face of the box flat and cut a parallel line all the way through to the last layer, (if using 15x15cm paper) cut the line about 0.5 cm away from the top edge of the from face of box. Make sure you don't cut the line all the way to the edge. Then u close the lid by leaving it outside the box and insert the end of the lid part into the line u just cut. In summary, it's like when u see food boxes that can close up, one side of the lid has a parallel cut in the middle where the flap goes in so the box can be close up. (Hope u understand)
Can't wait to buy some patterned #origami #paper and try to make this box! I can think of a million little presents to put inside...well not all of them at once though! he he #boxes #papercraft #giftideas
