- The 1979 Pacific Hurricane Season features several weak systems, some only lasted for a matter of hours. The season did have some strong cyclones, those being Dolores, Enrique, and Ignacio which all peaked as major hurricanes. As of the data we've gathered, Andres was the deadliest storm of the season, when it caused 2 fatalities in May when it made a Tropical Storm landfall in Mexico.

Ignacio peaked with 165 mph and 922 mbar in my analysis. It was a very good system to peak only as a C4, like Felicia and Douglas

1979 was a sad season for the Eastern Pacific Ocean only having 10 named storms, 6 hurricanes, and 4 major hurricanes. Also it is the most recent season for no cyclones crossing to the Central Pacific.

I think when the icon pops up on screen it's a bit too harsh on the eyes. It's fine for the names/text but the icons not so much. Other than that pretty good
